Has there ever been a definitive study of the relationships of white women and their bi-racial son's? This saga of Barack Obama and his mother raises many questions at least in my own mind of that mother and son relationship and in the unique IR realm, it's contrast in how the son sees his mother and how she views him in such a racially charged world. I have read accounts of how Obama's mom threw every bit of herself into her son because she understood better than most the difficult challenges her son would face. This is perhaps one of the most fascinating stories that ever be told (could be a movie someday). The love that he had for his mother and her parents, the identity factor, the quest (Obama) to find meaning of life, the interracial questions of both race and sex, it could go on and on. So little is discussed of this in the media as if it's hands off. The interracial dynamics of barack's parents in itself would be a fascinating study. If you notice no one want to touch it. Just imagine if Obama wins the Presidency. Imagine the legacy his mother will share in that historic moment and of her own "Dreams of a Mother".
Obama's mother is deader than the neurological activity in your brain and it's sons (plural) not "son's" (possessive).
