Very insightful, we need to become aware of what we truly feel and why. This is the process of true self growth.

Another bizarre thread from blackbirdbrain in which the level of historical amnesia goes through the fucking roof if we accept the premise that white women have fought harder than black women (!!!) against racism in America.

This is not to say that progressive women from other backgrounds (e.g. Gloria Steinem) haven't been strong proponents for black equality, but are we to place their achievements above those of Harriet Tubman, Ida B. Wells, or Angela Davis?

Remove thine head from thine ass.

Makes sense. We need to live in a perfect world with no problems whatsoever for this to not be an issue.

We don't live in one and we'd never have the ability to live in one, so these kinds of concerns would always be around with us.

I won't be upset if it turns out that I have to resort to having long term happiness without women (of any race) at all. I think I'll be able to handle it and live my life like everyone else.

BW have been on the front lines in the abolitionist movement, their lives were literally at stake, but the role of WW in advancing the social/political movement to end slavery, can't be understated.

WW were granted access to change makers(i.e. - WM) that no Black person was ever going to be given.

Black folk IMO fought more to change the system from the outside, but WW fought to change the system from within.

It was a partnership that would not have been nearly as successful without the other.

EDIT: This thread is still stoopid.:smt100
