I agree... Hip hop is definitely a culture (similar to punk, goth, rave, hipster) and it has different aspects that channels like BET and MTV dont show. So I agree with the author on The whole BET thing, but not specifically the hiphop thing because that BEt shit ain't Hip-hop...
