Shame on you all. Well at least most of you. I motion for the deletion of that monstrocisty of a thread.

No offence to cowboyfans. The intent might have been good. But it was WTF!

 

Why is it a monstrocity? What does "us" being here have to do with that thread and what is there to be ashamed of? I think although the guy did go off on a tangent, he did have good intentions, but he never said anything that was really offensive... I can't for the life of me see why people are taking umbrage to his posts. I've read every message in that topic from the first page and all I see are the views of a poster whose opinion differs from ours...It's a good and thought-provoking discussion if you ask me, but seeing as opposing views seem to be naturally frowned upon on this site, I guess it will be deleted whether I want it to or not.

While I understand your frustration with the posts made by cowboy I do not think he should be deleted. Censorship in any form is just unappealling to me. Let him speak and he will continue to expose himself for what he really is.

I have simply decided that I will no longer engage in ANY form of conversation with him. People like that want a reaction. Once they no longer get one, they go away.

Don't delete the thread, just stop reading it.

 

I notice a pattern that WM and BW share. They come on boards like ours with some pseudo-sociological shit ("I'm writing a paper, bla bla") to "spark debate" and the end result is that we're spending time engaged with that rather than BM and WW talking to each other which is what we're here for.

Do any of you go to WM/BW sites and do the same? I doubt it. WM and BW hate not being the center of attention.

I for one am not buying into this garbage.

And by the way Cowboy, Adolescent and Triathlete are all the same person co-signing his own posts.

I vote for deletion.

 

While I have to say that I in no way whatsoever agree with him, I agree with vanilla2chai. (I've been saying that a lot lately! And no, we're not the same person. :lol: )

And if Cowboy, Adolescent and Triathlete are indeedy all the same person co-signing his own posts, then I'm sure that the webmaster will figure it out and take care of it even though he probably has better things to do over the weekend than babysit here.

 

Im with you two ladies. Im totally against censorship, also. If anything, it justs opens the door for the same thing to be repeated, as opposed to just eventually being ignored.

Please send a letter to the webmaster expressing your opinion.
