Me either, I've never been attracted to thugs. I'm attracted to men I can talk to... who have something interesting to say... and will be interested in listening to me... Doesn't hurt if he has a nice figure though. Arrogance as well as stupidity turns me off... Humility turns me on... Nice is sexy... I'm pretty sure I'm speaking for most ladies on this board... They say men like bitches... From my limited experience, those men who like bitches are not nice guys themselves. This guy from my past who reappeared in my life and wanted to have a one night stand, or an affair with me, or whatever it was he wanted, and I said no and cursed him out eventually, after he wouldn't take no for an answer - that happened a year ago and I talked to him the other day, and he told me that the way I treated him made him respect me. That's just sad. It takes for me to get nasty, which I don't normally do with people, for you to respect me? I think that all this "bad" appeal, straight out of the Michael Jackson video, is for former bullies and spoiled brats... or people with self-esteem issues... maybe also lack of a good male (female) figure in their life... I don't know...

Agreed. I myself am not the scariest brotha out there but can hold my own; 6'8 250 lbs. I'm into martial arts so i am fluent kick-ass. lol. And i graduated University of Miami Law school. How awesome is that? Quite. How protective is that? Very.

Not to toot my own horns but women with class should pursue similar or better prospects.

Agreed, not to mention the thugs of any race have no idea how to treat a woman properly. Someone with class knows what the word respect means, and how to do it.

yeah Cris, i agree. i only opened it because i knew noble wouldn't steer us wrong..lol anyway, i do think all the girls there were being totally honest with each other, and although the one girl says that she wouldn't date black guys because her family wouldn't let her *sigh* :roll:

I think tht is true but a white girl who says that she won't date black guys because of her family has to think about what is going to make her happy whether she should date only white guys to please her family or date who she wants to date. She has to decide if if it is worth it to make her family happy or to be happy with a black guy.

the concensus did seem to be that they would date a black guy if he was a great guy, and if he was compatible with her. i'm also extremely surprised that none of them seemed to be attracted to the so-called thugs, which was a little shocking. oh well, that bodes pretty well for guys like me, so i'm not complaining :wink:

I think most white girls that I know are not attracted tot he thuggish black guys with the exception if she is a little ghetto herself than she maybe be attracted to the thugs. The only white girls that I see with the thugs are the white girls who go to the nightclubs to where the thugs hang out. Other than that I am not a thuggish or even ghetto black guy and I don't dress as such either.

New to this form

I have been in an interracial relationship for 12 years. I met my husband when I was 16 and I am now 27. For me it wasn't about skin color but the person behind the skin. To date someone based solely on physical appearance is narrow-minded.
