    doesn't matter the color

I believe it doesn't matter the color or a person when it comes to love. Especially when it comes to providing a loving home for a child.

    Black is just a "Color"?...

The only thing that ever offends me about such things is when people assume Black is just a color and not a beautiful and wonderful culture. It sickens me when people tell me "Oh you are just a color", as if we haven't expressed a very beautiful culture regardless of our struggles. As far as white parents adopting Black Children, so long as they make it a point to express the culture here as well as their native culture (depending on if they are from the U.S. or not) then I am fine with it. I am currently helping a few different friends who happen to be couples with adopted black children on educating them in Black Culture.

Someone mentioned Angelina and Brad and their beautiful multi-cultural family. Has anyone heard ANYbody in the black or white community raising a fuss about the having adopted a black child and 2 asian children?

Love is love, no matter the color. "Black" love is no different than "white" love. If a child will be given that love, happiness and safety, what is the damned problem?:mad:

The children need to know the culture of their birth. I am sure that all of us in IR would teach our children both the black culture and the struggles that come from it, and the white culture and the problems that came from it. What's any different. This could be an awesome way to bridge this racial gap that so many people insist on creating.
