Sorry. The only black cowboy I've seen was Trivette in Walker Texas Ranger and that was enough.

    No disrespect though. :)

definitely at the rodeo, at NASCAR races, at church(the Cowboy Church is a great non denominational place for good ole God fearing cowboys) dancehalls_Billy Bobs in Dallas FW area; football games-A&M yeaaah!; state fair, work, hunting and fishing.

even at fundraising events, horse shows and auctions

me<<<<a proud Sam Houston HS grad!!! DFW and former roper

heck in Philly there is a black rodeo, that tours all over the country. also, if you live south of the Macon Dixon, there are plenty of blacks who live in rural america and work their own cattle and are cowboys. why are we denying a large part of American History and non urban black america?

in cajun country, lots of black cowboys in hats and boots too.

check out black cowboys on google,

if you live in FW texas, go to south FW and check out the circle 8 rodeo, where black teens and hispanic teens train

my favorite rodeo bullriding champion is Charlie Sampson 82-83 National Final Rodeo Bullriding Champion!

Why wouldnt he? He was a bullrider with award buckles - you realize what high status that brings amongst cowboy girls? Its HUGE!
Its not at all unusual as Tuckereed said to see black cowboys- in many places - its normal, nobody sees it as weird in these places, dont be so judgemental just because you dont see it where you live, lol.

My friend dated nothing by white chicks and his brother nothing by hispanic chicks and they had nothing but very good looking gf's (no I didnt date any of them, but we were really good friends for years until he got married - I just didnt hang with his cow boy friends, I never got that scene).

LOL. Here comes the judge ...Here comes the judge. LOL
Here in the southeast you would never see that except on the movie screen and/or sundays against the green bay packers or against the steelers.

    This guy....

is a good friend of mine...goes by the name of "Saddle Brown"...former stripper, actually....but sings country music. He hangs out in Nashville these days.

THIS....THIS is one hell of a hot black cowboy. ;)

BTW...in reference to the OP...I call SHENANIGANS! ...There's no way JohnBrad and this guy aren't the same...one thing I remembered about JohnBrad was that he and I shared a birthday.

What are the odds that JohnBrad and this dude are both from Canada and are BOTH born on July 6th and have the same speech/typing patterns? Eh.

thanks, exactly, i dont find it or didnt see it as unusual growing up in Texas or in the southeast(SC, MS, Florida). Lots of us felt comfortable dating WW and HW, and being country boys and cowboys
