If you like the club scene, head to Roxy on West Alabama. I've only been there once, but I went with my ex roommate, (Who was, as he called it, "Blackinese", since his mom was black and his dad was Chinese. He's my ex roommate cause he couldn't stand that I just wanted to be his friend, and not his girlfriend. It wasn't race, it was the fact that he was a loser ) and a couple of really cute white girls with black boyfriends, and a couple of hispanic girls who seemed to think they were black. From what I could tell on the dance floor...well, let's just say if you got good game I doubt you'd leave without a few numbers from some cute white girls.

Roxy is kinda ghetto, though. Kinda raunchy, but it was fun!

Sadly I don't get out much, so I can't really suggest too many social gathering type places, cause I'm too poor to afford to go out anymore. I used to hang in a few different bars along Richmond and Westheimer, a few blocks away from the Galleria, and since I've only been hit on by -one- white guy since I moved here I got the impression people down this way were pretty open to interracial dating.

Fast Eddy's on Richmond between Unity and Hilcroft is cool if you like pool, and Trey's on Fountainview just past Richmond going towards Westheimer is where all my friends hang out. Hell, I think my boy is going there tonight when he gets off work. I've still not been (it's fairly new) cause until recently I had two jobs, and a full class schedule, so I had no time, and now that it's summer break I have one job and plenty of time but no money! *L* I'm dying to hit the place up.

My boy swears by their crawfish, and I've heard the atmosphere is pretty cool.

Man, just do what all the guys do to me. If you see a cute white girl, go talk to her! I always have the bad habit of not being single when the guys bother talking to me, and when I'm single it's like suddenly no one's interested. *L* But to me the only way I can tell if a guy is interested in white girls is if he shows interest in me. Otherwise I'm always too worried that he's only into black or hispanic chicks.

hah, and another suggestion? If you have a cute waitress, hit on her. Working at Pappasito's for a while taught me that like most of the white girls there either had black boyfriends or were looking for one. And I was told that's something prevalent in a lot of the restaurants around here. Added bonus? Most of those waitresses are waiting tables cause they're in school, so they usually got something going for them.

Or just wait around til I dump my boyfriend again. haha.

lol. Richmond@ Hilcroft. Though I can't speak for all the white chicks that work there now, since the staff changes so much and it's been a few weeks since I quit.

I could name at least one, who works To-go, but she might get mad at me for sending a buncha guys after her since last I heard she was messing with one of the dishwashers.

That's where I was told that apparently a lot of waitresses here in Houston go for black guys. It came up with one of my friends when she found out -I- was dating one of the dishwashers.

"You're messing with someone who works here??? Who?!"

"He's a dishwasher...."

"omg, is he black?!?!"

"....yeah...why? Is that a problem?"

"Wow, no. I just didn't think you'd go that way, what with you being country and from Virginia and all"

"West Virginia, actually. "

"Whatever, country is country, and white folks from the country usually don't do that. But I'm not surprised, a lot of servers seem to go for black men"

"You mean here?"

"Hell naw, I'm talking everywhere! I used to work at Joe's Crab Shack and wasn't a white girl in there who didn't have a black man or two"

Most of the hispanic girls there dated black guys too.

Just leave her a good tip and your phone number, and see what happens

 

Joe's Crab Shack also has a ton of locations in the H-Town area.

Not really. I don't have a car, so I don't go very far from where I live. The most I know of Sugarland is that I was once talking to a Pakistani dude who seemed interested in me for a time who lived there, but that's about it. I know Katy a little better, since I've been there...twice I think? three times maybe?

And I know that Bellaire sucks cause the cops like to harrass white girls who are out on dates with black guys there -_- Though that was the HPD, and not the Bellaire PD.

 

Houston girls are more personable than Dallas girls....Dallas girls are OK but Houston girls (even if they aren't attracted to you) are usually pretty friendly.
