Some of these folks blatantly cross a line with animals. They think because the animal might be raised by them that it gives them intimate feelings and understandings of said animals. Sadly, many often learn the harsh reality after being attacked and killed or maimed. Some people have a problem being able to maintain that boundary with an animal of such nature as big cats, its almost like they can't help it.
Of course for him it's hee-hee-ha-ha until we cut scene to his family lowering him into a grave. His intentions are great, but his actions are kind of stupid.
Some people get so cuaght up in their care taking duties. Why would you put your self at risk, so that you have no way to provide help/care/support to them if you get killed, makes no sense. Why should I give money to a stupid asshole cause he spends time in a death trap and makes it out, following that logic, I should give money every month to the people that live through all the hot spots in the Chi on the Westside or Southside (where cops are being shot brazenly & drug deals are in the open like beer vendors at the Bears game).
