They have really been driving me crazy as of late! The entire Detroit area seems to be in shock as the team has not been looking so dominant since game 3 against Cleveland. Hopefully they can turn it around tonight......
I think they will. I've been watching the playoffs and I have to say that this year had the deepest group of teams to make it in a long time. Specifically in the East. Look at what Cleveland did. Labron and company have arrived. Although Washington, Chicago and New Jersey didn't survive, they made great strides and improved their teams. And I was just watching on PTI today that ratings for the playoffs are up. I'm watching game 2 right now and they're doing fine. They'll probably win this series for the second straight year. But it won't be easy going down to South Beach. Shaq is still tough on the inside. In the end, I think they'll still win the whole thing like critics predicted them to.
I hope you are right. Tonight's game was cool but the Pistons did not end the game well. Their offense got very stagnant and they had way too many turnovers. Its going to be tough in Miami but we'll see. The west series should be really good though. I admit I had my doubts about Nash winning the MVP (I thought it should have went to Kobe or Labron) but the kid is playing his ass off and willing his team to win. I still pick the Mavs in six... B
I can`t stand the mavs or Dirk Nowitzki...but man he is a force...I still would love to see some upsets...these playoffs lack some nice upsets... I root for the Suns, the most entertaining team in the NBA! As for the Pistons...they are a great team, but like San Antonio, they are just plain boring and I just want to fall asleep watchin them...unless for San Antonio, if there are plenty of shots of Eva Longoria in the stands!!
I hope so....Phoenix just gives them so many matchup problems though...the Mavs have built a team to match up with Detroit and San Antonio but the Suns are so different from those squads....it takes a little tweaking in the game plan to match little Stevie Nash....Avery's gang just needs to attack Nash off the dribble as much as possible........what about the Heat and the Pistons....Pistons need to wake up...they are too good for this
I think everyone is really underestimatin the HEAT...Wade and Shaq are both in shape...last year when they were hurt, they still took the Pistons to a 7 game series...Hmmm...beware, the Heat is on!! The Mavs...I just can`t find it in me to like them...I dunno, but the Suns are a joy to watch...I hope they pull this one off, but it`s going to be tough without Bell!!
I hope the Detroit Pistons beat the Miami Heat. Living in Georgia, it's hard for me to root for any team from Florida (even though I'm not a Hawks fan either). I like the way the Pistons usually play team ball, but I think, just like commentator Greg Anthony said, their problem lies in the clubhouse. And a lot of it may have something to do with this guy: Trash-talking Rasheed Wallace! I know he plays hard and they need him in order to win, but sometimes his mouth motivates the other team. And Ben Wallace is a worse free-throw shooter than Shaquille O'Neal. Hopefully, they'll come back and defeat Miami. I find the Dallas Mavericks to be an easy team to root for. I like Dirk Nowitzki's game and especially their coach, Avery Johnson. He cracks me up. Even though I want the Dallas Mavericks to beat the Phoenix Suns, Steve Nash is slowly but surely becoming my favorite NBA player (next to Allen Iverson). Peace. _________ "The mind is like a parachute. It works best when it is open." - Rickson Gracie
What is GREAT about Nash, he-like Tim Duncan-defines what a team player is...not huge ego, shares the ball, always talks about his teammates, plays fundamentally sound!! GO HEAT!! Well for the Suns, it`s goin to be next year, when AMARE is healthy Just too much Nowitzki...that guy can shoot with his eyes closed!!!!!!
Told u folks, the HEAT IS ON!! Did u see Shaq go from end to end on the court????????? he looked like he was 20!! I sense a changing of the guard folks...NO SPURS< NO PISTONS this year in the NBA finals!!
Go ahead and rub it in. Yeah, this truly is a sad time in the D. Tonight is our last chance.... On another note I did not expect the Suns to beat the Mavs twice. Look for the Mavs to win in 6...
One game at a time my friends... Take care of home and steal one on the road... I know some of you ladies are sports fans, where are you at!!!
Damn...the Pistons found their D. last night!! But it`s going to be a tough one to steal in South Beach... Anyway I hope they lose...we need some fresh faces in the NBA finals!! It`s already the case in the West...let the East follow!!
NOooooo!!! don`t jump Bmanz...Detroit will be back...but this is WADE`s time!!! Now I hope Stevie (Nash) doesn`t disappoint me tonight and take Dirk to a game 7 in the West...but i`m skeptical...Nowitzki has taken his game to a whole new, different, higher, scary good level!!!! Achtung !!!
