I don't think you are unfair or close-minded at all. Your response is relative to your experience. You're a little bit older than me, so your an advocate of your age group, as well as I am an advocate for my age group. I'm just on personal crusade to try and get everyone, all races & ages co-mingling lol. If the man is young, the man is young. Notice I say 'man' & 'young' in the same sentence, I do agree that it is not typical to find such a young person that acts mature, has their personal affairs together & is financially stable with a bright future. On the same token, I think a lot of us here know that we should always keep our eyes & doors open to new beginnings & possibilities.

 

I know that now. I lost a chance to be with a potentially great guy who was really young, but he had his stuff together. I was too focussed on the age difference, at the beginning, instead of who he was...:smt087

I won't make that same mistake, if I were going to run into that again.

 

Why don´t you go to him to explain your situation, how you were feeling? If you feel like this- take the chance!
