Although I can see the reasons it would be bad for the board, I think an IM feature would be great. I also think Webbie needs to start a WWBM facebook group.
People should be forced to sign their rep messages. Too many cowards giving you negative rep and dont say who they are.

Some people forget to sign it as well as what you mentioned, so it would be nice if it automatically showed who sent it.
I agree it would be nice if it was programmed to automatically sign all rep messages. The only downside I can see to that is some people like to flirt via positive rep and don't like to sign it. I think having negative rep signed would be worth giving up the anonymity to most people though.
