You've obviously never seen Dickinson's Real Deal! Seriously, come to England, and watch two hours of day time TV. That's all it will take for you to never want to come back here :p

I went to wikipedia and found out it's an "antiques television programme". :smt088

............I hereby take back what I said. You guys got it bad. We at least get COPS and King of the Hill during daytime TV. Actually, COPS is on right now.:smt071:D

I changed my mind. I don't think it's fair for us to hog Mr. Dickinson so I got a little treat for you.

Thanks for sharing the wealth of British antique shows. HOLY HELL!!! Antiques!!!!!!! Here I am dicking around watching South Park and Naruto and COPS when I could be watching this. I damn near pissed myself when he dropped 50 bucks on that ocarina. Had me on the edge of my seat.........:smt095

That's some real boring TV. I like how they try to make it look interesting with a flashy intro n' shit. Makin' it look like an Access Hollywood setup.

And the host sounded like he took a small hit of helium. :smt042

But admit it, you have some male friends who just refuses to let go. Come on. Admit it.

the ritual stuff isn't for every damn little flirt, it's just for those complete hang ups.. like 3 yrs of roller coaster relationship that ends in chaos and tears. THEN you burn that damn paper, or get drunk and fuck a football team, or throw eggs at a tree or sacrifice a goat or whatever seems most appropriate. Not for the functioning normal breakups..

Glad to see the family acceptance thing.

I know it shouldn't matter, and the girl should be your main concern, but having the support of family does ease the load and I'm happy for ya.

    :)

    Fat chance.

She needs to keep the ring anyway to teach you an important life lesson about the ability to read people.

My ex family hated me to bits and I only met them once, so its a very nice change to be accepted. And thank you

I must've heard the N word over 100 times today in class.

Had a hella interesting class today in my Minorities in America class. Spent the last 40 minutes of class talking about everyone's opinion of the N word, both spelling types. All because some non black person made a scenario where he used the "er" version of the N word, and also said the "c" word about white people, and most of the black folks took offense, as well as some non blacks. He said something like how some racist people can say "Oh look at those N/gers on the corner with their 40s, and those C/ckers drinking moonshine out of the bathtub". That's not the problem though. The problem was when each person took their turn to speak about what they thought about the word and whether he went too far, they spit the word out like sunflower seeds. just one after another. Had I known they were gonna say it so much, I would tallied that shit. Each person was like saying shit like "yeah, I get offended when you say N. If I'm chillin' with my friends though and they say what's up my N, then I don't mind, cause it's like they my N. But you gotta be careful when saying N, cause if you say N around the wrong person, then might beat you down for saying N, so you saying N/ger or N/ga is something you should be saying". And a bunch of other bunch of varied opinions. And the folks who were mixed with Mexican threw in some "B" words as well, and I'm like damn. You guys can shut the fuck up. We get your point. It was really fuckin' annoying. It was a good conversation, and nobody got out of hand, but people were having a ball with that word today. I know it's a class about minorities, but damn, don't get too comfortable with dropping racial slurs, even if it's not in an offensive context. You still gotta limit yourself. Stupid mufuckas.

Really. Growing up, I had a stand-up white friend, who's parents treated me very well. It's nice to see the harmony expand beyond the immediate party.

It means progress. Something like that would have been very rare not too long ago.

As for the ones that did not like you, well you can not please everyone.

Well...I'm searching for work that wont bore me to tears (or make me redundant, again).Im also promising myself not to regret my decision to study subjects I adored at university, rather than those that are vocational.
Im thinking of growing my hair to my hips again but i'm not sure if it will make me look to young (or like Cher circa 1978, have yet to decide if thats a bad thing.....).
Im also in desperate search for new book recomendations and I WILL finish knitting this scarf i started...although it now looks like a small fluffy sleeping bag.
