I dropped my daughter off at her first day of 1st grade this morning. She's getting so big! Where does the time go?? She was so excited and she knows at least a few people in her class, so that should ease her into starting a full day of school now.

I took a 1/2 day from work to do it, and now I don't want to go into work. Damn.

This is a great fucking post.

 

1. Relieved to have gotten registered for classes for next quarter, nervous about getting my payment paid so i can actually attend classes next quarter.

2. Relieved that the pain is finally subsiding and I can walk now, and made it to class fine today. Pretty sure I've pinpointed the issue, so when I can finally afford to go to the doc I will be able to discuss the specifics with them better, and hopefully find some sort of treatment.

3. Pissed because I'm getting dicked around over the job I was supposed to be rehired at, and now the GM is out of town until Friday, and left without giving me his decision...which pisses me off to no end as it takes FIVE FUCKING SECONDS to say "yes, you're rehired" or "no, fuck off". So now I am supposed to wait until Friday.

4. Tempted to call and annoy the shit out of said GM while he's away, since he gave me his cell number. Just to make him call in a "hire this crazy bitch before she drives me nuts" message to the establishment.

5. About to trade a haircut for weed later. Go me for bartering. I am so awesome.

I got fucked around by Target. They said they would call me when a position opened, which the positions were open, which is why I applied in the first place. And I followed up like 3 times, and they want you to wait for them to call, as opposed to coming up to the store.

 

You and me both, babe. I mostly hope I'm right in my hypothesis as to what is causing the pain, because that means I'm out of the woods for now and may be able to come up with money in time for a doctor before it comes back full force again. Really I'm just thankful to be able to move. I HATE being stuck in bed. I get so bored, so it drives me crazy not being able to move around.

ugh. Yeah, I hate when places do that. Most of the time when they say "we'll call you" it means "We're not interested in you but we aren't going to tell you"...at least with these level jobs. My situation is a little more unique in that they're just dumbasses and I might be ok as long as I don't stop bothering them. It's just frustrating because I thought everything was gonna be ok and that I'd get the job back, and now I'm not so sure and I've got a limited time period to work with before I'm homeless if I don't get a job.

Oh, and now my phone is getting cut off tomorrow. Fucking hell.

But, I have to ask, and I understand that I'm butting in where I don't belong, but I can't help it, being the mom that I am, for someone who claims to have like $2 in their checking account, why are you trading a haircut for weed. Isn't food a bit more important in this situation or money to go towards a doctor's visit?

You don't have to answer that last question. It is really none of my business.

It's ok babe, I'm comfortable with my decisions.

The reason is because he doesn't have any money to pay for a haircut, but he has weed. So I give my friend a haircut, and I get to de-stress after. He's more broke than I am, but he's a stoner who almost always has weed. lol

And thanks to my wonderful mom, I got to get groceries. Sometimes she manages to scrape together 20 or 50 bucks so I can get food and have bus money for school, but it's not often that she can do so. But my mom worries about me, and I worry that sometimes she pulls money from things she needs to make sure I have a little bit. Between her and Nate, I don't starve...I'm just stuck on ramen sometimes.

I don't spend my mom's money on weed, and I certainly won't ask Nate to buy it for me either, because he doesn't smoke himself. Now, if I can manage to get this job I'll be straight, and maybe even afford a dime here and there. But, despite my love of bud, I never really buy it.

I just think about you and Britty all the time and wish there was something I could do to help both of you.

Britty, you are waaaay too young to have high blood pressure and cholesterol problems. Those are middle aged stuff. I am worried that you are getting them at such a young age.

 

About to head to the pool with a frivilous gossip magazine and a vodka lemonade. It has been go go go all summer, ned to chill for a few days and relax my mind before school starts.

 

Job is talking about awitching my hours, this place is getting gayer every week. I don't want to work an evening shift. The bosses are all assholes........

As for me, I am walking like a 80- year old after Mr Hit n Run hit me, even my buttocks hurt, and I seriously have to laugh about that.. I think the hip area got a real "hit" by the seatbelt.
