So, I order this pair of grey leather shoes.

I was contemplating on whether not I should send them back.

I decide to keep them after one week of deliberating.

The night I wear them, within less than 3 hours of having them on, I get a drop of peanut butter oil on the toe of the shoe.

I put some soap on the toe, throw them in the washer and wake up the next morning to see how they look.

After drying, I put them next to the other shoe and notice the color has changed.

I have officially ruined my shoe by washing it.

I look online, trying to find another distributor that sells the shoe and every retailer is sold out.

There goes $100 dollars down the drain on a brand new pair of shoes I haven't even worn outside my house. :?

Sounds like me this weekend. LOL. Hope you aren't hungover!!

I agree. Wash the other and you'll have a matching set again. :smt023

My daughter has been trying my patience since last night. She wasn't being respectful to me last night, whilst she was playing her Nintendo DS, so I took it away from her and told her she couldn't play it today either. I put it in my jacket pocket.

This morning, she took it out of my jacket and put it in her backpack so she can bring it to school. Needless to say, we had a big (I'll be English today :smt042) row about it this morning (20 mins long) and it ended with her telling me she hated me. LOL.

I left her at school (after I made sure the DS wasn't with her) and told her, even though I'm mad at you, I still love you.

Ah kids. They just have to try to see what they can get away with.

I got swiftly and bluntly thrown under the bus this morning on a teleconference....Brand new chief in town, that didnt want to admit he dropped the ball due to lack of information due to his "newness".
How hard is it to say, "Im new, I didnt know - I should have asked".
    I cant read his mind.
Now I have to fly out to Tucson of all places to try to put out major fires.

    WINE PLEASE! LOTS OF IT!!!!

Today I was talking to my barmaid and I was surprised when she was telling me that she was very much in love with a black american black guy, soldier from the states...she couldn´t forget him for one year. But he left her.. she is a very cute girl, very sensitive, slim, from Ukraine. Who of you broke her heart??????

Went into Physical Anthropology on Wednesday and didn't know our final was that day. Fail! Well, I got the notes for next semester if I get a D in the class.

Oh nooo. At least it's better than showing up a day after the exam.

A couple years back when I was still in school I marked Apr. 21st as the day of my final exam for one of the courses I was taking. I show up at the campus, there is hardly any traffic. Imagine the confusion I was in. I walked around all over until I found an administrative office that was open and asked what was going on. It so happens it was Apr. 22nd, a saturday at that. I was there on time, just a day late.

I hope you've passed the exam though.

Awwww too bad you couldn't have traded brains with me. I would have helped you pass. I'm sure you got by anyway.

Back in the day, I overslept on my Statistics final by an hour!! Oops. The teacher was kind enough to let me start when I got there though.

We are missing you around these parts, Athena!

your daughter is getting started young on this one bookie...you have to get better at hiding things when you take them away...and just be prepared for when you take something of theirs that the new thing is that they hide something you really need...like your car keys...phone...wallet...

boys can be worse on this when you take things away from them ..
my son have a very bad temper (well am like this but control it well ) usually say nothing build all this up and then it is worse .. last time he didn't want to go to school so i told him what will happen if he didn't go... got very angry at me after telling me he hate me lol and because i told him that's ok you can hate me but won't change anything he got even more mad well he kick the garage door few times .. he is not small so he done a big damage..

Yep. I don't call her my evil little munchkin for nothing. :smt042

Yeah, I made the mistake of telling her it was in my jacket pocket, never thinking she'd go in there in the morning and take it out. Lesson learned on that one.

I don't always take away her DS. Sometimes it's taking away her park privileges. But that's only after she's decided to not listen to me.

Good thing that you guys were able to fix the door!! Hopefully he's getting better. :smt023

Thanks, y'all. I hope I do pass. That's one less class I'll need to worry about for my AA.
