What's going on with you 2.0?

Too much to type, but this dude pissed me off. He's always texting me and it's like how can I get to know you via text? I need talk to you. He doesn't get it. I leave him alone and just let him text me. Then he wonders why I'm not going out of my way for him. This is why I'm staying single. I hate games and BS. Although, I'm sure he'll say something about me not making an effort.

 

ahhhhh....i got a guy like that, just texts & then wants me to send him pics of myself...WHATEVER...!!!! (shows him the door & makes sure it hits him when he leaves) :smt112

 

I've got a few of those types as well. Must be a new trend.

 

uh oh... i can't speak on this. some chic went off on me some months back for doing the same thing. i mean what can i say, i'm a writer. plus, it's easier to multi-task when conversing via text.

but all of that aside, i do understand it is not favored by many. is the dude worth explaining your point to? is he aware that you are not moved by words with no vowels? lol

Well, for one thing he lives in another state, so all we have is other forms of communication except seeing each other. He offered to buy me a ticket to come see him, but it's like hello! I'm not going to see you without really knowing you and feeling comfortable talking to you and what-have-you. I can type and text my ass off and do so all the time, but when you're trying to get to know someone, that's not the way to do it. I told him I'm a woman and I need to talk to feel connected to a man.

 

Nobody's shit it petty IB, it's all relative. Vent all you want, it's healthy. If the guy can't take a hint it's his loss.

 

IB-what is popin' sugar plum? dont sweat the small stuff, if he is chicken enough not to phone you, then he aint worth your companionship, so tell him to get stepin'.

Thank you! I appreciate it. I mean I don't want to sit up here and vent over some dude, but I guess it bothered me cause when I first talked to him, we had a lot in common and it was nice and overwhelming in a good way, but that's not the case now.

He has called me before, but now he resorts to texting. He wanted to go on webcam, but didn't have his cam and I'm like I'm not going to get on mine then. He didn't get it. I said I'll get on mine, when you have yours. What is this IBTV?
