what would you do if you were president ? http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-m...e-bachmann-says-steve-jobs-told-obama-he-mov/ 1) after reading this article what would you do ? 2) what does this say about america ? answer: 1) I would offer a program that would allow qualified americans to get a second degree that will fill those voids such as the engineering positions. I would increase the pell grants to allow them to get that degree and offer incentives to homeowners to sell their homes and take jobs in other states to fill the jobs they qualify for. 2) says something about the education system and the possible lack of the govt to push year round school and vision or creativity to solve problems to to fill those jobs. ======================================================== what are your suggestions and thoughts
"what would you do if you was president ?" Correct your grammar. And make them build Whole Foods stores in the projects - it's not fair only rich white people get to eat healthy. They take food stamps you know.
Tax Breaks for companies that foot the bill to train workers. Forgive student loans to people who pledge to go into fields of study that support our national need. Also: I would legalize marijuana and prostitution (in safe brothels) and tax them. I would develop a IQ/basic knowledge tests for anyone seeking political office. Abolish mandatory sentences. I would also hold quarterly Town hall meetings with members of congress in front of a live audience. I would also introduce the "Truth in Journalism Act". Where any information source, that calls itself a professional news agency has to submit to random independent fact checking and peer review. If any news source is found to have purposefully mislead the public in more than 10% of it's news stories it can not legally call itself News. And has to run disclaimers in front of every program that states "this isn't a news program and is not a source for accurate, verified information".
I would make it illegal to have lobbyist meet our elected officials to meet in private. If they want to protest or advocate a bill then they will have to do it on the floor while C-span and other media is televising
