Why am I not surprised one of the senior female members would love hip hop and rap, especially from men who play stereotypes for a living and disrespect women in their lyrics... I maybe the only one who openly questions here. I defend women right's while many (if not all) sit back and allow misogamists to run wide on this site. No one said RaiderLL , had to adapt a different culture and attitude she felt was needed to effectively communicate with "BM". I do not communicate with women who believe she has to alter her life to accommodate mine. Wait- the perception of what a woman similar to RaiderLL thinks my life should be. Not every man with darker skin is a blackbull or TDK! My Gosh, to perceive this way is dangerous and unneeded in society.
You crack me up...seriously! :smt043 So, because I'm a white woman, I shouldn't enjoy rap? And because I do, I've "altered my life to accommodate and to be able to effectively communicate with a BM"? If you actually knew anything about me, you'd know that I'm not the weak-minded-female-type who'll change her life or beliefs to appease or be liked by someone else. I've never had to alter my personality to be able to communicate with others (regardless of the color of their skin). I'm 100% confident in myself, so I'm not worried about the acceptance of others. If people like me, cool. If not...that's their right. Either way, it doesn't change or effect my life. As for the disrespectful words in rap and hip hop...you can find lyrics like that in any genre of music. Luckily though, I can actually think for myself, and I'm smart enough to be able to differentiate lyrics in a song from how I deserve to be treated by the man in my life. Maybe you're used to feeble minded women, but that's not me. Part of me thinks you create posts like this just to create hostility...the other part of me though feels incredibly sorry for you because maybe you actually believe the shit that you're spewing? Either way...it's your problem not mine, so you keep doing you. What floats your boat, doesn't float mine so go ahead and back the fuck off me. Thanks in advance :smt061
Probably so, and as long as we keep responding to it, he won't stop it. Try to not let him provoke you.
Pretty much! :freehug: Words of wisdom from Miss Unique Trust me, I have no intention of continuing with him any further.
In an attempt to get this thread back on track...how about some new Young Jeezy!?
