What else would you expect from the Welcome Center?

I gotta be honest, I found out about this website when I heard that the porn star Sophie Dee was married to a black guy. I didn't believe it at first. Or rather, I refused to believe it at first haha.

But yeah, this forum was the first thing that popped up on the search. Did some browsing, and I found a lot of the topics to be fairly engaging. Like on any board, there are people who post ignorant or foolish things, and of course, my personal responses to those kinds of posts were generally condescending. But for the most part, I find that a lot of people here have not only interesting views, but well-supported perspectives, too. Even if I disagreed with someone, I found myself saying "well, when you put it that way, I can see where you're coming from..." So I ended up reading through a whole bunch of threads. It's not every day that a completely random board catches my attention like this one caught mine, so I decided to register.

It wasn't until I stumbled upon How to Meet Black Men and White Women part of the forum that I realized that this site is actually a dating site. Haha, never thought I'd be signing for up one of these kinds of sites... To be honest, though, I really am not even looking to get into a relationship with anyone through the internet.

Anyways, more about me...I'm quite a bit on the younger side. Assuming there are age limits, I guarantee I'm one of the youngest people here. I am from the South. I'll be going to college up north, and I can't wait for the summer to be over so I can get started. Never really had a problem with white women in my area (or women of any race), but I know the barriers are still there. They don't have a problem flirting with me, or kissing me behind closed doors at least...

This first post is kinda of going all over the place because I have so much that I want to say...but if there's any message I really want to convey, it's this: I genuinely look forward to sharing my opinions with you all, hearing some more of your opinions, and just conversing with like-minded people in general.


Oh yeah, and the surfeit of smilies on this site is nothing short of magnificent haha
