So for you guys out there - This is not specifically racial, more of a male/female thing.

Tell us what/how much you think about when you're alone and your girlfriend isn't around.
Tell us if you don't spend anytime thinking about her at all or very little.

The following is not meant to be an all inclusive list of questions, just some ideas to get the ball rolling. Tell us what you do think about!

Do you really only think about sex?
Do you day dream about the future together?
Do you remember details about the last time you were together?
Do you save little mementos from your dates?
Do you lay awake at night and imaging what life would be like with her if you were to live together/marry?
Do you try to imagine what your kids would look like if you had them with her?
Do you try to figure out if your lives are really compatible?
Do you try to figure out little ways to surprise her?
Do you obsess over where she is and what she is doing all the time?

Do you really only think about sex?

Unless a man is mentally ill he doesn't just think about sex. He may think about it a lot, but not always.

Do you day dream about the future together?

My feelings for a woman would have to be exceptionally strong for this to occur.

Do you remember details about the last time you were together?

    Maybe if something funny happened.

Do you save little mementos from your dates?

    No.

Do you lay awake at night and imaging what life would be like with her if you were to live together/marry?

    Not likely.

Do you try to imagine what your kids would look like if you had them with her?

    Maybe.

Do you try to figure out if your lives are really compatible?

Once again, only if the feelings are strong enough.

Do you try to figure out little ways to surprise her?

    Feelings again.

Do you obsess over where she is and what she is doing all the time?

Another sign of mental illness and no one has ever accused me of calling/e-mailing/texting too much.

I know that they are likely to say no, I just want to know what- if anything they really do think about. I thought it would be fun.:p

I know a few guys who kept a couple mementos other than panties.

Single guys are not exempt if they want to tell us about what they thought, or even what they think now of relationships. Please join in.

If you all answer us honestly, maybe we'll tell you guys how our brains work!! Think about it, wouldn't that be a Deal?? Common!

Wow, Mosk I guess we're wrong, look at all those yes's!

What's the point, we don't use brains. We use our heart and intuition.

Well he's different. Remember this is the guy who lights candles for his woman when she's in the shower. Go find another one like that.

AH, but we do a lot of thinking when he's not around!

Yeah, he is a treasure. And I'm sure quite rare.

But let them tell us, we may find a few more around here. We actually may get some education as to what really goes on in that gray matter between their ears.

I've heard it said though that men have a real talent for thinking about absolutely nothing. (I never could manage that one.)

And that's what they do best. When it's too late, that's when they start thinking.

Do you really only think about sex?
No, but I do think about it a lot. ;)

Do you day dream about the future together?
    All the time.

Do you remember details about the last time you were together?
    Yeppers.

Do you save little mementos from your dates?
Nope. But I've saved some of his hair. I dug an old shirt of his out of the garbage after he threw it away. My moon is in Cancer and I'm a packrat and I save everything he's ever touched. I'm psychotically obsessed. I've even saved an empty tube of his antifungal cream/creme. Etc.

Do you lay awake at night and imaging what life would be like with him if you were to live together/marry?
    Always.

Do you try to imagine what your kids would look like if you had them with him?
Yes, I've even tried to photoshop a couple pictures of us/putting them together.

Do you try to figure out if your lives are really compatible?
I'm always going by astrology/numerology to see if we're compatible. It's fun.

Do you try to figure out little ways to surprise him?
    Yes.

Do you obsess over where he is and what he is doing all the time?
    Sometimes.

I'm back, editing, sorry, I didn't read the title right. Too bad! :p

Men are generally wired differently than us, yeah, but just like you can't generalize based on race, you can't generalize based on gender either. Some guys are all romantic and shit, some aren't.

I spend enough time around guys to figure out how they work, generally. No, they don't always think about sex, but it's definitely a big thing most of the time. Most of the questions you asked are answered about the way the first guy did...it just depends on how he feels about you. If a man feels strongly he'll do special shit to make us feel good. If he doesn't, he won't.

The hard part is getting the bastards to feel something...other than our asses.
