Sounds really interesting - you must have seen all sides of life! I hope you manage to help a few.

The biggest success is a girl who was previously a heroin addict - 2 years later she was off ALL drugs, even prescription medicine, and she had a beautiful baby girl. All that despite being raped while pregnant (by the baby's father) and having her mother choose her step Dad (who abused her) over her.

But some people just can't be helped and they actually get worse when they come to live with us as they mix with "the wrong types".

I was a biologist (working in neuro sciences), but later decided to go into medicine. I will be a poor medical student in a few months.

So you're an environmentalist and a hostel worker? What a combo.

I'm an interior designer. Started out in fashion then switched over.

actually rosey not in the US. And I am not a Hostel worker--I work with Nonprofit charities, which work with the poor. And I work in a nonprofit advocacy organization working on the environment. Not a strange combo at all, if you have ever been to the nations capital or new york or eastern cities Many Nonprofit corps, do the many things. i have lobbied for many kinds of issues, education, land protection, transportation and family farms as well.

Even though I have dreadlocks, I've managed to maintain work in corporate America. I currently work an office job where I primarily do data entry and other clerical duties on the computer. I also attend college part-time majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Hopefully, I will get my degree and go into business for myself because I sometimes tire of the corporate culture. I'm just a guy who believes in no-nonsense hard work without all the bells and whistles. During most of my time living in Atlanta, I've worked two jobs but now I only work my one job and attend school.

    Peace.
