what do white women love about black men?

My attraction is fairly recent (in the last year or two) and was a process of events, although I’ve always preferred the look of men who have olive skin, dark eyes and black hair over pale skinned blond men. It’s easier if I just explain how it all started, although part of it is a bit weird so please bear with me…

I went back to education as a mature student and befriended a man of Caribbean decent. He’s a lovely bloke, a good friend now, and although we fancy each other the timing isn’t right for either of us to get into a relationship right now. He was my first encounter with black men, and it’s all been positive; he’s an absolute sweetie.

Next thing that happened was the odd bit. I had a dream where I was being hassled at a party by an admirer, and the only person who was keeping an eye on me and ready to save me was the only black man in the place. I’m not religious or spiritual and don’t believe in guardian angels so I have no idea where it came from, but it had a profound effect on me. The “guardian” in my dream was an unknown man so not my friend, so I wracked my brain and wondered if it was an actor I’d seem on TV. It wasn’t Wil Johnson from “Waking the Dead” or Idris Elba (I’d watched “Luther” a few weeks earlier) but I Googled them out of curiosity anyway; wow, they’re tasty! Not my guardian though, but they did ignite a spark of lust for dark skin.

My attraction is purely physical, the way dark skin glows and how much better it looks on toned muscles than white skin. I’m a typical English Rose, with pale skin, blonde hair and blue eyes, and the thought of being wrapped in strong dark arms is a massive turn on; the contract would be very appealing. But I’m not anti white men at all and would date a man of any race if the attraction was there.

There are a lot more choices with pale women. Some can be pale, so light, and some tan/olive. There are more choices of hair color, eye color, lip color, hair color, hair texture, and personality. With black woman, the choices are narrowed. But then again I grew up in a upper class suburb so my contact with black women has been limited. I like all women, but every man has his preference.

I don't know if it is all that, but I think my attraction is the same way yours was built. Me growing up in a white suburb and also I went to a school that was nearly all white during puberty.

I have been loving BM since i was like 14 and was in love with all of the rapstars:cool:

Why I love them? It is something about the male in them, i think BM are so much more manly than WM in general. Yeah I can find WM attractive too and I have had one relationship with a WM but the attraction with BM are so much more to me.
I love the dark skin and I am all for big muscles, i wanna be able to wash my panties on his stomach hahaha ;) I love the gangsta style and the whole badboy thing, the feeling of making a hard man melt;) and I love BM in suits too... I just love it all. The sexiest thing?
My BM in a white tight wife-beater (or what's it called;)? ) baggy jeans and a cap. OMGGGG!!!!

This is a great story lippy! I love the idea of a guardian and can see how that would spark an interest. I also know what you mean about dark skin and how much better it looks with toned muscles. :smt103

I read this over several times and this is what I got from it. Read the black, italicized parts. I don't think DB and Andrae are totally wrong about what they've said. Anyways, these portions of the poem were questionable, in my opinion. The first part implies that black men are animals and not really humans. If a large animal were to walk into a room or something, that's what you would hear. Black men are just like any other human being. The second part gives the illustration that the media perpetuates that black men lack family values and have misc problems. With regards to the "king" reference, SA said the same thing or something similar to that recently and took heat from other users (male and female) for saying it. So I guess it is fetishing for referring to a BM as a king.

I disagree, it is a common expression for African men and women who are rastas to use for each other (king and queen), the King of kings being Halie Selassie according to rastas. Without de railing the thread, I always thought openheart was a bw.

I gotta get in on tis....

Why do I love black men? lets see.

Nothing is sexier than the sight of black men (especially dark skin) next to white women!! They are way more confident and seem to be able to break me down by looking at me lol. Interracial couples make beautiful babies and black men are naturally more in control. Now them being in control is only good if it's in the right way, not abusive. I could go on and on

Ok, I never knew that. You know a lot about ancient history. Anyways, to the second thing you said, it was hard for me to articulate whether or not she was white or black. The only thing I realized was that OpenHeart liked me and Tamstrong/MissWacy thought there was sexual tension between me and her. I'm not sure how they were able to come to that conclusion, but I guess a woman's brain is wired a lot differently from a man's brain.
