what do white women love about black men?

Now that you have opened your heart, I say to that heart be true, and hasten to meet its needs. The silk that comes from your saliva makes the throbbing pain that I feel pleasurable. The love that you feel show depth from your commitment, and the force that emits from the passion with which you declare shows so much faith, and may time never wear on those moments that struggles would make you despair.

The black man, your black man needs love, nurturing as well as understanding. He needs the earth and he also needs to enjoy the bounties that come forth from the land. That you have stood up and declared to all, that you have boldly and courageously stood, and walked your path unaided, damning all the damnable, you have already shown a strength of character that speaks to the honesty of your longings, and your thoughts and your actions speak of good intentions.

I say, welcome white woman....I say welcome ravishing woman of faith, join us, couple us, and so that way you will make the world prosper, in a manner that we will have no race or tribe, just people and many more biracial, multi-ethnic people that dot on each other, dot the earth's landscape and also care for one another.

I say welcome white woman. It is all love and a new day, may it be well with you. :D

    Wow...OK..

What's wrong, karma? Feeling lonely? Unappreciated?

Dude, seriously? You want someone to worship you...because of the color of your skin? That doesn't strike you as...odd?

Maybe it's just me, and I've known some pretty shitty BM in my day. One such used to love to slap me around like his own personal sparring partner. So, what? I'm supposed to worship him because he's black? You think he's earned that? You think you have?

People don't just show up on your doorstep and devote themselves to you. Gosh.

You think so, do you? Well, let me set you straight- No. I'd find it strange and fetish-like, just as I initially did here.

OK, so you waited months. Big difference about first impressions...

BUT...meh. Still not a fan of the whole concept of writing poetry to worship a specific subset of men or women.

No. There's nothing wrong with it. I can say 'Karma. You're crazy intelligent, and you really show the world that you're not afraid to express yourself. I like you don't take people's shit. I think you're great.' or..am I just supposed to sit back and say 'Karma.. and all black men... oh they are just simply...AMAZING *dreamy sigh* No one understands WW the way they do... no one fucks me the way they do...gosh, all black men are just so...so...wonderful!!! And I can't wait for the day when one of them takes me in his arms and claims me for himself so that I can wait on him hand and foot until the end of our blissful interracial days!!'

Oh really? You are counting yourself in that lot, too, I hope, yes?

Right. In a week or two, I would've read that differently...and I simply wouldn't have commented. I woulda shrugged it off and maybe thought 'Damn, OpenHeart must've just gotten laid with that kind of devotion flowing through her veins. Good for her!'

    It's all in the timing.

Anyway, I apologized to OpenHeart, already...I was a bitch, and I owned up to it. Come off it.

As a poet myself, I think this is wonderful. I appreciate you putting yourself out there, because it's something most folks aren't willing to do. I think it would be a great addition to my thread & I'd appreciate it if you'd post it there too...

It's funny to me that black women write this type of thing about black men all the time & nobody has a problem with it, but when we say things like this, people always scoff. Believe me, I know how shitty that feels. IMO we can be the queens to our strong, beautiful kings & have a love & devotion for them that we should never have to be ashamed of. To put it bluntly, if someone has a problem with it, fuck 'em.

LOL why the fuck not? I can think of other groups who get their asses kissed daily because of the color of their skin. The real question is why you take such exception to the concept when the OP wasn't even addressing you, which says way more about you then me.

LOL I'd be flattered by that and move on. People express themselves in different ways. I've been hit on by gay men before, you don't punch them in the face, you say thank you and tell 'em you're not gay. It ain't that deep.

Add the fact this is a damn message board not a real-life meeting. I'd be a little weirded out if some WW came up to me on the train reciting poetry of any kind, let alone rhapsodizing about BM.

And it has already been established that when peeps write poetry/raps about WW it's all good but the minute a brotha gets pumped up, feathers wanna get ruffled, another "hmmmmmm" moment

    Well that's good at least

I love the depth of your soul. I envision a bright early cool morning....outside on a wooden porch with the ocean at my backside and you before me as we both spill love and appreciation of life from our lips. Thank you for such a beautiful metaphoric welcome.

Generally speaking, I feel your sentiment. Im the same way. I especially shake my head when its on some thug/plantation sexual shit that some women get off on.

But in this case, she wasnt addressing one specific person trying to sell her love. It was an overall display of applause for the positive characteristics she admires in black men.

Aint this what the thread is about?
