That post is straight up creepy. I'm sorry. There's a difference between nice and batshit crazy- and if you're having trouble telling the difference....well, that concerns me. ;)

She sounds so far into the fetishizing that she eats, sleeps and breathes it. I wouldn't be surprised if-assuming she's serious- that she's heavily into the D/s lifestyle and he's her Master. That was scary.

And now that I read it over to see if I overreacted (I don't think so), I need to go shower. Yick.

I guess I just should have went along with the majority here and said something shallow like. I love black men because their skin is pretty, they're sexy and handsome and their dicks are big and they are good in bed. However, I know many black men to be so much deeper than that. I posted what I posted and I make no apologies for it. If anything, you as a black man should have not been offended by this. I don't understand men who allow themselves to be relegated to the numerous shallow statements about why they are loved for their physical and grin with pride, but when a woman seeks to go deeper than such remarks as sexy big dick, muscular body, etc. and dwell on the character of the man himself with deep adoration, she is then ridiculed.:???:,

    Back up.

You join up, post THAT, and then proceed to call all of us shallow? Have you read anything around here? You have no damn clue what we are all like.

Strange, that you didn't respond to them that way. Anyway, sorry for offending you. I had no idea it would be shit. I will try and remember to fall in line with the other cliches posted rather than dwell on your character as a man.

Openheart, were you writing about a specific man or all black men in general?

I didn't call you shallow or anyone else here shallow. Why are you so angry? I don't understand.

GQBrotha lays the same egg and it's seen as golden. A bitch can't be white enough for his ass.

I'm not angry- you're misreading me. I'm just being serious here.

You refer to everyone else's responses as lacking depth and then defend yours. Unless that was written for one man, that's totally crazy sounding, I'm sorry.

You cannot comment on a man in depth without knowing him. I assure you that not all man are deserving of such praise, so to give it unwarranted and unknown smacks of fetishism. We do not take kindly to that here.

No. He's not waxing poetic about all white women the way OpenHeart did about BM....most of you guys declare preference for WW. Preference is not the problem.

I was speaking of the black men I know in general. God knows I didn't mean to ruffle anyone's feathers. I simply wanted to dwell on the character of black men. Sure they are sexy, handsome and good in bed, but what is wrong with what I said about them. To tell the truth, I am really confused about the reactions I am getting here. I poured out my heart just a little and I'm getting smashed for it. Something is wrong here but I can't put my finger on it just yet.

You've made your case already and your statement here is very much legit and understandable. I think when you wrote it, you wanted to express your preferences on a poetic nature, which is perfectly fine. In fact, I encourage that sort of explanation as oppose to the general reasons which we're accustomed to. It's new, and sweet.

Please, all he writes is sycophantic bullshit so don't be selective with your criticism.

Exactly. How often do you see people here take the time to express themselves eloquently when discussion why they love such and such? Hardly ever.
