I was going to leave this topic alone since it's such a touchy subject for some apparently. I am black take a look at my profile you'll see my big smiling face. As for your assessment of my painted reality, I don't presume to know everything and that's why I asked a question. I wasn't out to hurt anyone's feelings, you guys totally took it the wrong way. But as an observer in this interracial world in the U.S I do notice alot if not the majority of interracial couples are between a black guy and an overweight white woman. I didn't say it was fact I just said it was something I tend to notice. All that had to be said was "I don't think so or on the on the contrary I think differently because....
Btw I just noticed that troll on here is code for something else but as someone who just literally started on this forum how could I not see that as name calling. If someone called you a troll in the street you'd take that as a critique on your looks right?

There's a difference of being with any man from any culture. Did you imagine that because I shared a similar skin tone with my African brothers we'd be the same? That's sad

Andrae..Its not a sore subject per se...
if all take your post as they have, you cant fault everybody and say "you guys take it wrong" - You really need to go back and read your post, it is not borderline offensive or vaue.. it is acctually plainly offensively written and it baffels me that you dont see that.
You could have been dimplomatic about it and avoided this in the first place.

Again, its not what you say but HOW you say it.. and you just chose a very poor way of asking your question, I mean go back and read it, I cant believe you are surprised by the reactions, really.

Im also baffled over you not knowing what a "troll" is, you should have stumbled over that if you spent any time on any forum..it is generally used and has been for well over 10 years. Now I get your response to that:)

lol...no not really, that's why my life is filled with so much joy and happiness...by the likes of intense debaters like you guys (whether or not you have a lot or little feeling about the said topic). lol:smt006

I'm not saying CBQ is right, or you are right, that's not my place, but it was a good response as far as debate is concerned. Not to say that you didn't have any good points yourself my man. You had a couple of good points, I just don't think they worked out for you in this debate.

Tashi what I said wasn't set in stone and you're not over 40 which is what I said, but as a woman that notices other people you don't see middle aged women having a harder time in the dating world opposed to women in their 20s

So women over 40 aren't allowed to date black men unless they had before their 40th birthday? Huh?

Many black men first date a white women past their 40's so fuck knows what you're talking about.

Some people care far too much about who other people date.

nope not 40 yet, but i don't believe that i will have a problem then either. as for middle aged women having a harder time, i have friends in their 40's and they are as active in the dating scene now as they were in their 20's.

I'm beginning to think it's the magazines that have brainwashed everyone into believing that when a woman hits 40, she may as well shrivel up and die.

It's ridiculous. Sure, I'm not there yet, but I really have way more options available to me today than I did in my early 20s.

It's all in your attitude and how you present yourself. :smt023

These days with phrases (like Jay-Z said): 30 is the new 20 etc., we're not like how women in our mothers and grandmothers days were. A lot of women with style, attitude, proper dieting/exercising, etc. look good and take care of themselves and are not washed up old hags and have it going on.

Yes, cause we have biological clocks ticking and can't procreate as long as men can, so that can take a factor into consideration (meeting mates for marriage/childbearing/rearing). Then you have to take how society has viewed women in the past who've gotten older as like I said, "Old hags", whereas men who were older, have always been "Distiguished". That's changing.
