Just kidding, Egypt is in Africa, Africa is only one continent. But going to Egypt is completely d/t experience than even visiting its neighboring countries like Sudan, Somalia, Eritera or what have you. If you like to travel check out Africa, it is a mind blowing experience.

UncChosen is saying that Egypt is "Africa by soil" but it's not really the 'same place' in that sense.

For those who must satisfy with reading and are not lucky enough to get there or anywhere in Africa, as far as old white dudes with a non-colonial perspective and a funny, mostly insightful and not simpering account I recommend "Cape Town to Cairo" from giant of travelogues Paul Theroux.

I don't separate the two anymore, but i use to before i went to egypt itself. I believe egypt is the transition between the arab world and the so called black african world. Indeed, the majority of the inhabitants in the north have the so called arabic appearance. However one i went further south to luxor, edfu and of course aswan many of the inhabitants look similar to Northern Sudanese, Ethiopians, and Somalis. In fact, the people in both northern sudan and upper egypt is definitely related ethnically.

Could we really tell the difference between these Egyptians and Northern Sudanese?
