what are your personal "red flags" when dating?

Trying to figure why he should be chivalrous if you're so "independent."

 

Because the ones who never practice chivalry have been the ones in my experience who end up falling in the "users" category. Whether it be for money, shelter, transportation, or a home cooked meal.

Like I said, based on my experience, I do...if they can't open a door, drive their own car on a date, offer to pay, carry your luggage when you get off a plane, etc...I think it shows a selfish side where they are out for themselves and what they can "get" from you. Can't say that's every guy in the world, but it's been the case with some I've dated!

 

And you wonder why your ass is alone.

I crossed out the criteria that falls under the Unreasonable Bullshit category, because no self-respecting man would even jump through those hoops for a Brazilian supermodel.

 

Um, I don't wonder why I am alone, I choose to be alone, there's a difference.

No cell phone = low funds or not able to communicate via text which is essential with my life style

More than one facebook account = shady, hiding certain things from certain people

Negative attitude towards co-workers = does not play well with others

Less education than I do = just a life lesson learned, less in common and different long term life goals with no value placed on a college education

Marine Corps = I spent seven years around it, and I hate what it has done to friends, families, kids. Unless you've been a Marine or a Marine Corps wife, you don't get to have an opinion on that one.

Less than 10 states = hasn't traveled much, likes to stick to what they know and less adventurous

 

Yeah and I'm a strong black woman. Whatever.
