The one thing I'll give her is she recognizes she needs to get her shit together before demanding this shit of other people but I agree a woman with that many conditions better top 10 percent or she's wishing on a star.

Even ignoring the fact that it was a list of deal-breakers not a list of red flags, there were a lot of stupid things on your list.

Point taken. Although a lot of deal breakers start out as red flags - I could itemize which ones they were. It was a stream of consciousness list.

Which ones do you think are stupid? Brothers think I need to be a "dimepiece" to prefer what I do, so they must not be that stupid. I have an idea of a couple... curious what you think.

Or are you just kissing ass because I'm unpopular at the moment?

A good friend suggested I be nicer. I'm trying that out for awhile to see if it suits me. So far no good lol

Whiks is by no means an ass kisser. She's going to be honest whether it's popular opinion or not.

lol, not sure whose ass I'm supposed to be kissing.

It's all good if you choose to exclude men based on silly things such as "small hands" or yelling your name across a crowded room, and even fine if you'd write someone off for being paid by the hour or not having a college education, there are plenty of fantastic men who fall into these categories, so your loss.

But something tells me you would make exceptions to most of these things if someone incredible came into your life. And that makes the list redundant. And idiotic.

Whikle doesn't need to kiss ass and if she did I'd be the last one she'd need to do it with. We go back and for a lot but we're still cool so knock off the propoganda.

Small hands are creepy -it's like being pawed by a spider monkey or raccoon.
Big strong hands with long fingers are one of the things I like in a man - it's a legitimate preference as is race, height, or any other physical attribute. Next.

I do not like men who yell. There was a lot of yelling in my house growing up and I just hate it. There is no need to yell unless it is an emergency, otherwise come up and talk to me like a civilized human being.

I did not say "paid by the hour". I said paid by the DAY/ paid daily/ daily pay. In cash, usually.

College educated is a fairly reasonable requirement for someone who has spent the majority of her adult life in school, yes for ART. There are many women who will agree that intellectual equality is very important. A man can of course be that rare bird who will be self-taught and highly intellectual (different from intelligence alone), but college provides the ground to have ones' assumptions challenged, analyzed, changed, etc. Learning on your own with NO outside influence/challenge results in a fairly one-sided, egocentric view of the world.

What "tells" you I would make an exception if someone wonderful came into my life? If he were wonderful (to me), he would possess most of these qualities. Most women would say that a few of their preferences could be laid to rest for the right man - that goes without saying.

Now I'm just curious why people are getting all bent out of shape over my list, as if they have come to the conclusion that I (in particular) am not worthy of these things.

    Why is that?

    Points you've made: 26
    Points I agree with: 11/26 (42.3%)
    Points I disagree with: 12/26 (46.2%)
    Points I omitted: 3/26 (11.5%)
