what are you looking forward to?

just a simple thread asking if you've done anything fun recently or are looking forward to something in the future. just trying to find out what all you guys (and ladies) do for fun.

this weekend i went to a fashion show in downtown kc and saw lots of awesome clothing.. and saw some professional dancers breakdance afterwards.

Personally, I’m looking forward to my future in the recording industry. I’m looking forward to wiping out all of this bullshit politics & cooning in the music game right now and bringing some sense of solidarity back to it. Hip-Hop and R&B are both dead, so somebody's gotta revive it.

I also want to bridge the gap as far as what is considered “black” and “white” music. The suits want you to believe that music really has a color, but the truth of the matter is that music is the only thing that can ultimately bring multiple races together.

 

Won't happen, find us someone half as talented as Prince and I'll be happy.

I quit my job a few weeks ago and plan to not work a single day between now and the fall. I'll be hitting up the Dom. Republic next month.

New turbo is on, 90+hp gain and over 100ft of torque gained and that's not even with race gas in it.

Track isn't local anymore (102 miles one way) but this is the start of a busy summer at the track, to culminate PINKS! All Out at Infinion Raceway in NoCal and 10 second ET's (That's faster than a Ford GT, faster than a Ferrari F430, faster than a Dodge Viper even though it has 600hp....)

And STILL GETS 32MPG!

looking forward to getting to short story number 6 by the week's end. I'm on vacation the whole week so shouldn't be that difficult. I just did a 1st draft of number 1.

Plan to compose some jazz tunes. Haven't attempted jazz yet, been mostly hip hop/r&b. But a true musician must always branch whenever possible.

 

I am looking forward to getting a new job, taking my motorcycle safety class, going away with my boyfriend for a few days, and getting away to my friends lake house for the week.

 

I look forward to my boyfriend to come back from Iraq in a bit less than 3 months.I miss him a lot

Writing a Book

I look forward in writing a book about the relationship of myself and my soon to be wife. I have not seen or read any thoughtful books on the day to day relationship of a black man in a interracial relationship that has true meaning. Not as a pimp, not as a drug addict, and especially not as a buffoon.
