They crack me up, but like you said, it's annoying. It's like you seriously have no idea.

My Pops is 83 and he's very active and youthful. I just started calling him old. He has friends our age...lol

Good for him! My parents are 74 and they only really started looking and acting their age in their late 60s....

Thanx! I get my youthful spirit from them, just have to stop the aging in my face though. :(

My Moms is 76 and she's also very youthful. People think she's in her 50s or 60s. I forget if we're walking, she'll be like wait up, I'm old! She doesn't walk like an old person nor does she sound like one...lol

Very true. They're still fairly young at heart, but they're looking their age. My dad spent a month in the hospital last year (he was really sick with pneumonia) and things are starting to fall apart on them. They're starting to slow down a bit.

But give some alcohol to my mom and she's the life of the party (I take after her in that dept :smt081)

But yeah, they still have a lot of living to do!

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully they can pep up again....

Like your parents, after my father had Cancer and now he has Osteo, he looks older than he used to and he's definitely slowed down, but he's still a party guy and out doing his thing every weekend.

I always thought I'd miss my 20s and would do anything for the chance to go back, but now that I'm here, there's no way I'd want to go back. I love my 30s. I'm so much more content with who I am.

My sister (who just turned 51) had told me that she hated her 30s and loved her 40s. But I'm finding that I'm loving my 30s. Not sure how I'll feel about my 40s. :smt081

It's only going to get better Bookie. 40 is way better than 30, and both of them beat the hell out of 20 IMO.

I am too but I think being old is a myth. Age only suggests where you might be at a certain it doesn't determine it. I've seen people who were sluggish and lathargic at 25 and 60 year olds who sky dive so its very subjective.
