Since there is obviously an offended party in this thread, before anyone apologizes to anyone...does anyone have any answers or input about new members, please, by all means, oblige me. Have you ever been the new person on the forum, I've spoken to several lately--I myself, had never been on one until I came here, to which I learned very quickly the proper etiquette for a forum. I now know to introduce myself in a thread that I create as a new member--so that I can learn how to navigate, and people can meet me as I am new to their e-community. If I don’t follow the above, then I may be rightfully deemed as a troll, negative lurker, problem, etc. What is your take/position on this?
Derail over... In MW everyone would be familiar with each other, and we would see outsiders coming from a mile away...but we would be accepting to all of them under the said terms menationed earlier (of course there would be a probationary period)
I had never been a member of a forum prior to this one either FRESH. I did introduce myself, as I think that tends to make people more comfortable than if you just show up and start posting, particularly if you are an extremely opinionated person, such as myself, it's just nicer to introduce yourself rather than just let loose on everyone without warning. No one every accused me of being a troll, despite forum etiquette being a foreign concept to me at the time. I also am not quick to label anyone a troll, even if they don't introduce themselves prior to posting. There are some who raise eyebrows with remarks that they make in early posts, though some are quite subtle I've learned that they tend to become less so over time if they have an agenda to push. I just prefer to take a wait and see approach, as sometimes it's merely a question of communication skills, and personality. Andrae comes to mind in particular, people thought him a troll when in fact over time it became apparent that he just tends to express himself very passionately, and he doesn't sugar coat, which can rub people the wrong way. Personalities vary, which is part of what makes the forum enjoyable to me. If I wanted to spend time with people who think exactly as I do, I'd just talk to my family all the time. It's the varying backgrounds, personalities, and experiences, that lead to the many different points of view expressed here, and with that will come a certain amount of conflict. Some people can handle opposing POVs and it leads to spirited discussions, and others cannot and become offended. That's just life.

I did not want to be crippled coming into this forum by being thought of as a troll either. I understand your concern since the very nature of this website is special and should be protected. I would have introduced myself on the "Introduce Yourself" thread - but it is closed. I had an awkward but successful start on the "sticky" thread dealing with how you came into the community. I'm a real person. My Mochaworld would be note a print, online or TV . It would be a world where they see you skin but they see the love within. the mocha world is not concern if you are in an IR or not. they are happy that you have a man that is good to you or have a woman for you who drops it likes its hot . the mocha world is concern if you are happy and joyous but if your are in pain or distress they will comfort you so you can be your best. love is the rule not the exception hate and war is not in the vocabulary peace and joy is the beginning in my dictionary.
