As we reflect on Valentine's Day this week: check out this 1978 double album by the prolific Marvin Gaye. He usually didn't write his own songs but he did for this heartfelt recording. As a part of the divorce settlement, his wife Anna would get royalties from the next album he released, so he went into the studio and told a tale of a broken love affair--- his own.
