US Army Basic Training? Yeah Right

    8 hours of sleep and all you can eat buffets? Those are better living conditions than in the outside world for a lot of people

    If someone were to ask me if I wanted that 80 year old veteran saving my life or that Gomer Pyle looking dude I am pretty much going with the old guy.

    So basically you're going to have a bunch of fat kids that are sleeping when terrorists are attacking? Either end the wars or draft if its that important.

    well you know, the next best thing to a draft, is to downgrade the intensity of the recruit training process, because a volunteer army full of creampuffs is better than one full of people that don't want to be there to begin with

    I'm guessing that One-Station Unit Training for Infantry MOS at Benning, will still be the same as it is, for obvious reasons. Some things you just don't want to fix, if it ain't broken.
