Upcoming Holidays

A number of holidays will be celebrated around the world in the weeks ahead. What holiday will you be celebrating and what about it are you looking forward to most?

 

The half day work schedule that begins on the 19th, and the 4 day weekend that also comes along.

 

My family will be celebrating xmas, but I'll just be enjoying spending time with my family. I'm not religious and I hate all the xmas crap. LOL I know, everyone thinks something's wrong with me because I hate all the xmas songs, trees, tinsel and stuff.

Most of my relatives are Catholic so we go all out for Christmas. But although I am no longer a practicing Catholic I still make the most out of being with all of my relatives, giving them a gift from the heart and eating, drinking and being merry... artyman: The men on my fathers side are typical "aussies" I would say, lots of BBQ's and beers, but it is always tame and just an all round wonderful time. I am most excited about seeing my lil sister/my best bud, and catching up with her...

I hate the holidays.... especially xmas.....

 

Ok, I am a complete sucker for Christmas. This year, it's especially great because my sweetheart will be meeting my family for the first time, and vice versa.

 

I find Christmas very boring. I assume I will work...Around New Year I will travel, maybe, let's see, what's coming up.

 

I walked into the house yesterday after a long day of traveling, just to see that my house has been transformed into the North Pole.

I :smt049 how my mom goes overboard with decorating sometimes... she adores christmas as much as I do! (Although, I've already walked into a little tree TWICE today, think she's going to find that in a different location :lol: )
