I saw that episode. He was ugly and looking a little too feminine for my taste. I didn't really notice that the two chicks were white. On a side note, if any dude was treating me like a jump off we would have some BIG problems. The jump off needs to move on, there are plenty of others guys out there who don't look like they play for the other team.

i dont know the details, but I know he wasnt happy. when you have power like that, you just can't wield it anyway you want to. people know her by name, and she has some influence over a large base. you'd expect more integrity from someone like that, and not just a ratings grab lying about someone's fam. That's how you get shot lol

funny how comic book writers have more sense than many people, who would consider themselves above that.

On more than one occasion, me and my studio colleagues - whilst I was still working & living Stateside - would hang out at the nearby Perkins...and the server, manager, or a patron or two would - after eavesdropping on our conversations (which ahd VERY LITTLE to do with ANY of our work, but rather current events, politics, & science) - would inquire "are you college professors?". In an ELWOOD BLUES type manner, I would deadpan: "No Ma'm/Sir, we're Hanna-Barbera artistes".

I *did* query, in a previous post somewhere around here...

Don'cha wish ARTISTES could rule the world?

I have a geeky director who shares your sentiments. He's twice my age, but we both love science-fiction/superhero material, like Star Trek, Watchmen, Batman, etc. He goes and says 'you know, these guys aren't just talking out of their asses,' then adds that a lot of the stuff printed in comics, or discussed in Star Trek (black hole anomalies, the usage of light particle theory in photon torpedoes, light years etc) are actually based in science (google Stephen Hawking, a main supporter of black hole theory). Growing up as a kid, you're told that comics and TV aren't good for you and are just based in 'make-believe.' Then you get older, and realize that sometimes, these guys are actually talking about things you wouldn't know about, unless you took some rudimentary astrophysics instruction, biology, chemistry, etc.
