As a black male, this shit doesn't even phase me any longer.

Its reached a point where I don't even like talking politics with people or dealing with any stereotyping jokes.

My motto is see me, approach me, deal with me as a person and leave it at that.

If you can't do that keep your thoughts to yourself. This race shit is just tiring by now.

As for these two they were a couple of knuckleheads at their finest. Who knows what their malfunction is.

Seems like she rather enjoyed the attention and focus originally, going on about being Cuban like that is supposed to be something special or noteworthy.

Yeah and people should be able to go through life peacefully and happy but that shit don't happen. What happens and what should are two totally different things my friend.

This reminds me of one of my cousins in the late 80's/early 90's. He lived in Arkansas and is the typical white country boy (reddish hair with freckles and skinny/no real muscles). He grew up with my grandfather having absolutely no issues with using the word "nigger" to refer to anyone black and was truly a very racist (Pentecostal) preacher. Growing up with that type of racism he simply learned nothing different and thought there was nothing wrong with it.

That was until one summer (between 11th and 12th grade) when we were visiting them and went to the local pubic pool. A group of black teens were giving him a problem because it was noticeable that my cousin didn't like black people. My cousin got mad enough to start raising his voice and yelled "nigger" at them many times (actually, he used that word and a bunch of other racist terms like porch monkey, tar baby, and a few other choice words).

Once the words and nasty phrases really got through to the teens they beat the living shit out of him. He ended up with a crushed skull, multiple broken bones, internal bleeding, and a multitude of abrasions. He had to have a steal plate bolted onto his skull because the bone was obliterated ... I mean it was in tiny fragments of pieces. He is now considered mentally retarded and has a pronounced limp. All because he was taught to be racist and didn't have the since to think it may not be the best thing in the world.

These girls are going to end up just like him (or worse) if they don't stop this shit now (even now it may be too late).

I must second that statement. Life is so not fair and although people should be able to say what they feel without fear of bodily harm, that is not the case in every situation and everyone should be prepared for the (sometimes physical) backlash. :smt086

Only one was able to be found even though the cops really did do an very extensive search. The guy who was caught refused to out his friends and the line-ups they put together using the friends the cops did find didn't produce any other suspects.

They guy who was caught got charged with attempted murder and was found guilty. I don't remember the amount of time he got sentenced to but it was a large amount because I remember the black community getting outraged that he got that amount of time.

Anti-white rhetoric? Are you serious? Give one example. Go ahead I'll wait.
And if I were dumb enough to do that shit in the back woods of Alabama then I do have it coming.
People should be able to wear blue in any part of LA thru want to but you shouldn't if you don't want to get sprayed up in blood territory.
Don't pretend to be so naive fam you definitely know the difference between what should be and what is.
Would you walk around the projects late at night with your kids?

I was wondering like damn, she was going on about being Cuban as though that shit gave her some mighty status.

Like she was European royalty descended from blue blood aristocracy or something. Spending her days sipping tea and making public appearances at museums, attending the ballet and the Opera and Ascot races with those fancy hats the women wear.

    Bleh, ignorance is bliss indeed.

LOL, technically you can but not advisable if one wants to avoid the usual elements that come out at night to do their dirty deeds. :)

Reminds me when I first came to America and used to live in a rough part of Brooklyn (Crown Heights) and every night on cue you would hear the gunshots ringing out, never failed, rest assured that shit was not fireworks. :D

My second day in America I saw a dude walking the streets with a gun chasing after someone else, a few days later heard he had gotten smoked.

Damn my dude you were in the hood and was this the late 80s early 90s?

    LOL, yep the hood indeed.

That shit was no joke. Once you hear the guns shots there are no illusions about where you are. Ain't Mayberry. :)

This was in 1992 when I came to America. Lived in Crown Heights for about 3 and a half years.

What always got me is during the day everything was fine and cool, but soon as late night its like all the criminal elements came out and took over the area.

Honestly if your stupid enough to post a video on youtube basically being an ignorant racist dumb-ass, and your school is 60% Black you shouldnt be suprised that bad shit might happen to you. Also Im willing to bet that dumb fat bitch made an apology video because parents, and school told her plus Im willing to bet she is having fun with most of her white friends calling her a stupid racist bitch, and all the black kids giving her shit as well.

I always wonder were you guys find this stuff. I know it's out there on the net but I never come across it. I guess because I don't visit anything but sports forums, geeky tech forums and this one.

As much as I disliked the first video they made (I couldn't even watch all of it) I kind of felt sorry for the other girl in the apology video.

People can be really confusing. I once worked with a white guy, who was pretty cool. We were talking one day and, he basically told me he used to think just like those two young girls were talking ( not literally those two girls, It's just a example of how he thought like them).

He said one day he came to the realization that we are all the same and, a black guy is just another guy trying to make it in the world just like him. I wished I had asked him more about it. I just wonder what makes a person go from one extreme to another and, why more people don't do that, either gradually or like my co-worker.

Of course it isn't going to change her mind. BUT it is an emotional issue so people don't tend to think that way when the emotions are high.

What I wish would happen is that anyone who is that racist (black, white, tan, purple, whateva) gets sent to a small island with only themselves and the people they "hate" to live together for a year (or more). Maybe they would learn, maybe not; but at least they would be gone for a year leaving the rest of us alone.

It wont change their mind, and I don't ever condone violence a case like this, but by being shunned (shuuuuuunnnnnn the non-believers!) it might teach them a valuable lesson about the consequences of their actions and will likely make them think twice about VOICING the thought in the first place. Having the thought is not the problem. Any number of anyones thoughts can be absurd or abnormal on any given day...but voicing or acting upon such thoughts is what gets you in the most trouble.

Quoted for truth. Reagan was the scum of the earth. Too bad Hinckley was a poor shooter.
