In the ABC late-night drama, Brothers & Sisters there's an interest between Sally Field and Danny Glover In the ABC show Brothers & Sisters starring Calista Flockheart, Rob Lowe, Rachel Griffiths, Sally Field and Balthazar Getty including others. Sally Field's character, Nora Walker, is a divorced woman with 5 children(or should I say adults) and she tries to find love after divoerce but never quite succeeds. She then meets Danny Glover through her son-in-law and the political campaign that he is running in. She seems aprehensive at first about pursing him but deep down inside, there's something she likes about him. He has no qualms about pursuing her but he does so in a non-aggressive manner. Sally's character ends up inviting Danny to dinner with her entire family and little do they know she's trying to court Danny. All the while they think they're just acquaintances or 'friends' but Sally later reveals she has feelings for him. The family doesn't mind the fact that he's black, nor do they even mention it, and they find Danny's character to be a nice intelligent man. In the upcoming episodes Danny and Sally seem to be keeping in touch and visiting each other periodically. As far as romance and on-screen touching is involved, the show has yet to reveal. Anyone watch this show or have any input regarding this situation between the two? It's on Sundays at 10p/pacific.
this storyline would have fit perfect in that thread about conservative white women dating liberal black men, only this one is the exact opposite. glover plays the conservative republican and field the liberal democrat.
