    Sarcasm is a complete turn-off

Wigger/hoodrat-acting. In fact, lack of education in general.

Women who really have to prove they're smart is a turn-off, you either are or you aren't

Talking too much in general is a turn-off.

Smoking isn't too bad, just don't do it around me.

That's off the top of my head, more later.

    Assholes.

Men who disrespect older folks and people they've just met and who talk to them like they are chewing on a mouthful of shit.

    Drugs.

    Sloppy clothes and bad hygiene.

    Liars.

    Rudeness.

    turnoffs concerning men:

    smoking
    drinking too much
    arrogant
    bragging drives me crazy
    self centered - boring
    attention whores
    foul mouth
    pretenders

that is just of the top of my head:smt115

I'm not even going to lie. I'm a little self centered. I don't do it on purpose though.

Guys who like to fight all the time, who smoke all the time, have no aspirations and people who think they're the centre of the universe. Oh and it really annoys me when guys refuse to let me pay for things, it's 2009, get over it. Immaturity is a big thing too.

I'll co-sign to this, though the sloppy clothes can be sexy in certain instances (as long as they aren't sloppy ALL the time).

I'll also add men who don't respect women and who degrade women. Men who think they're their all that, bugs me too.

And when a man clearly likes you and doesn't do a thing about it, shows me he has no confidence in himself, so I don't like that either. :D

    I'm sure there is more....

Guys who try too hard. Do just enough to make me want to come to you. I'll stifle my personal story about this and spare you guys. :p

Baggy pants and bling are both horribly unattractive.

Cursing for the sake of cursing is a turn-off.

    Bad hygiene, of course.

Lack of goals is a problem.

    Hoodrat mentality. Fuckin' suburban hoodrats.

    Loudness.

    Girls who cause a scene(drama).

Girls who cause a scene INTENTIONALLY.

    Head shakin'. Neck rollin'.

Hardcore, every night, party girls. Being physically hot doesn't do enough to tolerate their shit.

Girls who overreact to shit that isn't that funny, but still have to make a scene laughing and stumbling around.

    Bad hygiene.

Smugness. Mufucka, your shit stinks too. It ain't cinnamon and cotton candy comin' outta your ass, so get off your damn high horse.

Girls who horse around and bump into and knock the cds out of the fucking way like you aren't even there, and end up getting themselves kicked out of Dimple Records.

Girls who talk shit about how they will kick anyone's ass, but can't back it up(It's unattractive when they are dead ass serious and talk like they have the balls/ovaries to swing on Kimbo Slice or something).

    And some other stuff...

I agree with all of the women that have posted thus far.

    I'd have to add:

-disrespecting people (anyone) - KG you are absolutely right -
-inflamed jealousy - over the top jealousy
-inability to speak like a grown-up regularly (it's "that" not "dat"!)
    -clothing inappropriate for their age
-no goals was written by Allilyn and I'd like to emphasize this point - having ambition and dreams and making them happen makes me a happy camper and I'd like to see that in my partner
-unwillingness to explore the world, not open to new cultures
-self-destructiveness (i.e. alcoholics, drug abuse, smoking...)

There's a few other things that are red flags for me but who wants to read an essay, lol. I've got lots of personal growth to do myself, so flexibility is key when I meet someone. :)

Just thought of another major turn-off:

When a guy molds himself to be the person that he thinks I want him to be....I can tell when a guy isn't being his true self with me, and I think that's one of my biggest turn-offs.

I want to have common ground with a man, but I want there to be enough differences that we can learn from each other and have new experiences with each other.

I want a man that I can have debates with and that we aren't always thinking the same way...I want someone to try to change my mind on a topic. I love debates and I love to listen to other peoples' points of view. I want my viewpoints to be challenged, too!

I don't want to date my clone in male form. :smt081

-Rudeness is a MAJOR turn off. I want my man to give his seat up for old ladies, say please and thank you, shit like that. Little things like that count.

-No aspirations. Even if we're only dating, I don't really like spending my time with people that do nothing with themselves.

-Guys that take themselves too seriously. I joke around a lot, and I do tease my boys a little bit so if you're going to get offended, it probably won't work.

    -Bad hygiene. Self explanatory!

-Bad dress sense. Sorry but it's one of the first things I notice and if a guy approaches me with a dirty shirt and food all over his face, I'm gonna have to say no.

i tell you, smugness is definitely a turnoff for me i loathe stuck up women, i don't care how pretty she is, if she acts like she's gods gift, then the attractiveness level falls significantly. but as i said in another thread somewhere on here, ugly people are just as capable of being smug too. personality and attitude in my opinion trumps looks any day.
