Withholding $250 mil in military aid to Ukraine unless they find dirt on Joe Biden doesn't sound like a crime to you, Loki??

This guy really believes in the political system. No wonder you blame capitalism for everything. When you have that much faith in politics what else is there for you to blame?

Mind you the only "skill" or "talent" of a suit is kissing ass and of course lying with the hope of getting a favor in return. With that said this is an opportunity.

Hi might have been better to spend all thatmoney helping the peoe and its economy. Rather than on weapons.
America should stay out of European affairs.

Who else is helping Ukraine with their problem with Russia?

A lot of Americans agree that we should stop giving money to European countries period.

given that he did release the funds eventuallyhe can spin the delay in a million ways to slither out of that, remember if impesched he will face a literal trial in the senate and will put on a vigorous defense

    ????
I believe in politicians covering their asses. Why do you think Republican Senate leader Mitch McConnell allowed a unanimous consent vote to allow the Senate to see the entire whistleblower complaint that was sent to DNI, the same report Trump's IG Bob Barr is blocking Congress from seeing??

Rats jump ship when the boat is sinking.

BTW it's YOUR political system too. When you abandon all faith in our government, laws and checks and balances, you've basically lost all faith in the country, at which point capitalism isn't going to do much for you.

I don't think our government is useless, but it is what needs to be fixed. I also don't expect the world of it, because that's not what's it's for to begin with.

We will know the government has been fixed when the media doesn't have much to report on it. Our government isn't for entertainment or for personal salvation. All of these talented artists in media and yet government literally competes for attention. Pathetic.

Since you want us up to European standards, how about getting our political system there? None of these rankings have a damn thing to do with capitalism.

"encompassing civil liberties, the electoral process and pluralism, government functionality, political participation and political culture."

How come its an non European country that is "helping"Ukraine ? ?
Maybe America should just keep helping its great democratic friend Turkey.
A country which continues to occupy part of an EU country.

Because maybe they are our allies. Why isn't a European country helping them while they are being bullied by a dictator to their east?? You don't think America should have helped when Germany invaded France?? If we can help France then why not Ukraine??

What country does Turkey occupy? You're saying they invaded an EU country??

    Northern Cyprus
But the USA doesnt place sanctions against Turkey.
    Double standards.

First of all Turkey is part of NATO putting sanctions on them wouldn't make sense. (NATO, so it's France's Ally too)

Secondly the invasion of Cyprus by the Greeks is what started it.

Those people seem to want Turkey there because they want to be independent from the rest of Cyprus because they are Muslim. Turkey is also Muslim.

It's probably more complicated than that but as long as France is a part of NATO don't push Turkey off on us as if your country has nothing to do with them.

Do you want your country out of NATO? Do you want NATO to no longer exist?

    Turkey doesnt even help NATO
    It buys Russian weapons.
    Its not democratic.
And it occupies part of a EU country, contrary to U. N.
    But USA still backs them.
Many EU countries want closer relations with Russia.

As if Russia isn't a dictatorship. That's quite hypocritical.

Turkey was a democracy last time I checked, did that change?

You do have a point about them buying Russian made weapons tho, that's counter productive for a country in NATO. I don't like that at all.

So what do you want exactly? You want Turkey out of NATO or do you want France out of NATO?

Seems like you want Europe to be closer to Russia. Why is that? Why this affinity for Russia? Why does Europe want to be closer to them?

Ok Turkey is definitely questionable. It may not be much of a democracy anymore or a failing one at best, but when you show affinity for Russia in the same breath it comes off as quite hypocritical.

Unfortunately, it's not the 70s anymore and the Republican Party of 2019 is NOT the Republican Party of the Nixon days. The currently GOP is much further to the right and much more reactionary than they have ever been with no end in sight.

Bear in mind this is the same group of Senate Republicans who literally told Barack Obama that they were going to refuse to hold a vote on his Supreme Court nominee and suffered absolutely zero political fallout because of it.

I get that you're optimistic that Senate Republicans are going to suddenly recognize the rule of law after completely ignoring it since January 2017, but they really cared about that then they wouldn't be supporting him in the first place.

N Cyprus is Turkist because most people there are Turkish.
Same for N Ireland being British.
    Same for Crimea being Russia

I have more affinity for Russia, a fellow European country, than I do for Saudi Arabia, which finances Salafist islam and finances theconstruction of mosques all over Europe.
    But its Americas friend.
American has gotten itself into so many messy wars because of its opposition to Russia.
But all these military interventions have ended in failure and the deaths of thousands of young Americans.
    Pointless

Yeah we should break ties with Saudi Arabia and become energy independent. We haven't yet because of internal politics.

You seem to like Arabs and their culture. Just not the Muslim ones?

So you have an affinity for Russia just because it's a "fellow European" country? It's America's fault that Russia is our enemy?

We should just stay to ourselves and let Russia become bigger and more powerful?

When he finds out Trump won't get removed it's going to be capitalism's fault, watch.
