There are a handlful in the mentions on this tweet. They're trying their damnedest to spin this as Trump being so brilliant that he only retweeted this to somehow own/trigger the libs, and not because he read only the title of that article and decided to share it without reading it first.

Trump isn't playing 4D chess, or even 3D chess. That would required him to be the kind of person who considers consequences before his actions. Trump is just impulsive and reckless, and he is just plain dumb.

No one has "gone ghost", lololol.

Loser Libs are just like their 2-time Loser Hillary, so smug, thinking they're smarter than everyone else..
Normal people see exactly what Trump set out to do.
Do you honestly think he doesn't know about the Conservative Satire site after 4 years?
President Trump is a Master of Ceremonies and if you watched his rallies, he's full of satire and mocks the Dems brilliantly, in particular the Activist Media. It's why the Tweet is still up. He got millions to read Jack being mocked...

"...After seeing account after account tweet out one particularly bad story, CEO Jack Dorsey realized he had to take action. Dorsey smashed a glass box in his office reading "Break In Case Of Bad Publicity For Democrats." Inside the case was a sledgehammer for smashing Twitter's servers.

"Red alert -- shut the servers down! Shut them all down!"

Dorsey ran downstairs and started smashing as many computers as he could, but he did need to ask for some help, as the hammer was pretty heavy. :p None of the programmers could lift the hammer, either. Eventually, they managed to program a robot to pick up the sledgehammer and smash the servers.:p

After hearing the Twitter employees talk about critical theory, the robot got woke and began attacking all the cis white males..."

    LOL.

    WTF, AB, l said:

"(As much, if not more) People have died from the flu virus and and we've never shut our economy down"

On average, 65,000 people die from the flu alone in the U.S every year. Why didn't we or don't we shut our economy down over those high death numbers?

The shut down was outrageous and detrimental.

It has caused more deaths and suicides, created traumatizing anxiety, divorces, unconscionable cases of domestic abuse upon women and children, created new and worsening alcoholics and depressed patients in huge numbers.

So.much so 6,000 scientists, thousands of doctors have said TO NOT SHUT THE COUNTRY DOWN again.

You called nothing. Trump didn't tank the economy. COVID did. And it didn't just take out America's economy.

The world's economies tanked this year.

    Nice try, though.

So his response as leader had nothing to do with the 200k+ dead? His inability to lead his party to actually pass a bill that would help Americans get through this ain't on him?
Other countries may have seen a slow down of GDP but they acted responsibly and covered payroll for companies so that they wouldn't lay people off and kept cash in their pockets. Their poverty levels aren't rising like it is here. So just like you people want to give him credit for the stock market and low unemployment this shit falls at his feet as leader as well. Especially when dude dismantled the pandemic response team without replacing them for whatever childish reason and he himself knew this was an awful virus in JANUARY. Imagine if we had a responsible adult informing the country on proper steps to take back then? Maybe we'd be able to really open up our economy like other countries.

Him taking bites out of Obamacare before the Pandemic probably didn't help either.

Serious question, how many Americans do you believe would have died if there NEVER was a shutdown??
What number of deaths would be acceptable to you before you decided maybe we should probably take a different course??
    500K?? 1 million??

And anyone who believes herd immunity is an acceptable solution is insane. MILLIONS of people would die before herd immunity took effect.
Yeah being on lockdown for months is a bitch, but this is a pandemic. It's not a normal situation and the solutions aren't easy.
Under what scenario is it okay for 2-3 million Americans to die in less than a year and we brush it off for the 'public good'??

I just don't understand people who have this nonchalant attitude about people dying unnecessarily.
It may not be your life so you don't value it the same, but it is a LIFE.

I wonder what your attitude would be if COVID19 was attacking children and young adults disproportionately, instead of the elderly and the sick.

Also, I'm skeptical of anything that's released weeks before a presidential election.

It's hard to say how many or what would be acceptable. Until science has enough time to develop a safe vaccine we cannot say how many will die. If it's your relative no number is acceptable . Until there's a vaccine people will have to put up with inconvenience. Fact.

I was reading an article about a man in New York who was protesting Governor Cuomo over his decision to follow a federal guideline. Back in May the federal government directed to send people to nursing homes when the hospital's overflowed with covid. The man's elderly father died of covid after covid patients were sent to his nursing home. The funeral home says the death certificate reads heart disease though Drs diagnosed covid.

So unlike the republicans trying to bury the body in the backyard, I think this is under-reported and actually more people have died of it. Nobody has any incentive to over report it but they do have incentive to under report it.

We may never know truthfully the correct numbers.

Well, 7 million have caught it, and recovered.
So again, no need to shut the economy down, or continue to.

Plus, l want my Governor to stop telling me l have to wear a face-diaper if l'm alone and outdoors.
And stop threatening constituents with jail if they don't comply.

It was NOT A FEDERAL DIRECTIVE.

It was a NY STATE directive orchestrated by Gov Cuomo and he freely admits it.

'Cuomo reversed the directive under pressure on May 10.."...Cuomo noted Monday that it wasn’t well understood early on how readily the virus could be spread by people.."

    See NY Press story below.

New York Hospitals Sent 6,300 Recovering COVID Patients to Nursing Homes

The directive was intended to help free up hospital beds for the sickest patients as cases surged, but several relatives, patient advocates and nursing administrators blamed the policy for helping to spread the virus among the state’s most fragile residents

(Same Governors order happened in NJ and PA with high resulting deaths)

Loser Libs... Well, that's clever! Right out of Trumps playbook, but what else can one expect from someone who regularly demonstrates that he's yet to get a good grasp of basic grammar rules and usage. Perhaps he was correct when he said that blacks are too stupid to vote for him as they're not many of us willing to support him.

Your response is totally emotional. What does 200+ dead have to do with your claim he tanked the economy, just like "you said he would"? You have added so many things that have zero to do with my reply to your post.

But, is Reuters a "reliable" source for the Left??

    https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-...-pandemic-response-team-in-2018-idUSKBN21C32M

    CONCLUSIONS
There is disagreement over how to describe the changes at the NSC’s Directorate for Global Health Security and Biodefense in 2018. The departure of some members due to “streamlining” efforts under John Bolton is documented. The “pandemic response team” as a unit was largely disbanded.

    VERDICT
Partly false: The Trump administration disbanded the “pandemic response” team, but some of the team members were reassigned to roles that included pandemic response.

Have the libs not demonstrated from day one how much of sore losers they are?
24/7. Nonstop. In their thrashing sleep.

Threats to blow up the WH.
    Trump's head decapitated.
    Attacks on his child.
    Wishing death on him.
    Violently attacking his supporters.
    Bogus attempts to impeach him.
Fake dossiers and fake Russian connections.
Wishing he dies of the Chinese Virus.
    Sending him Ricin.

    Losers.

Please submit the evidence he said, "Blacks are too stupid to vote for him."

OTOH, we know for a fact that Biden told you,
"If you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black'.

So failure to respond and withholding information from the public that could have saved lives and preserved the economy is on who again?

Lol! OK, sure. I guess you don't see/hear this president when he's whining about "not being treated well", "mean" and "nasty" people when the truth is he has dished out a lot more hate, but his poor feelings can't deal with the fact that he's simply reaping much of what he's sown.

As for your list. All it points out is that regardless of who's POTUS they're people who wish them harm and so on. In fact... I totally recall that very often haters of the last president had plenty to say/wish about him and his family's well being including often calling him, his wife and daughters apes.

Do I have evidence???... No, I don't. Do I feel a racist such as he could've made such a statement... Absolutely. Similarly, Trump has no proof that the Central Park Five were guilty, but he sure as heck hates that their convictions were overturned.

Trump supporters really have a hard time understanding this. The party that prides itself on personal accountability and derides people on the left for being snowflakes are quick to turn a blind eye to Trump in those same situations.

Agreed! Rules and such never apply to Trump in his and their minds. The hypocritical BS from them is mindboggling. Sadly, they do it so much (especially with this president) that it's not even a shock any longer. Gotta love the part about how they don't give a crap about anyone's bad fortune, but suddenly... They wanted everyone to show empathy for their leader's positive COVID-19 diagnosis.

So, stopping flights from China in February was "failure to respond"? So, the entire country going on lockdown to "flatten the curve" was "failure to respond"? And boy the curve is still flattening 7-8 months later.

The fact the entire world's economy broke down because of the lockdowns worldwide would have preserved our economy?? TDK, do you even read what you write? It makes zero sense. There is not a damn thing ANY president could have done to preserve our economy during this pandemic.
