I brought this up in fb and one of my conservative friends told me he wasn't a judge he was a magistrate in Va.

I had to look up magistrate online and found out its basically the same exact thing just less cases and they seem to have the same powers as a judge so I don't see the difference.
But it could have play a part who knows?

True but no one will admit to that. Basically the new idea that's taking root is that Zimmerman was just trying to be a good witness that's why he stalked a teenager at night. They also sited Treyvon had a history of violence via a twitter post where he said he swung on a bus driver, you how much over inflated shit I post on fb? If I were to be prosecuted for that shit I'd be doing football numbers right now.
They had less evidence on the OJ shit before it went to trial but motherfuckas had no problem condemning him before it began. With the same media bias. Before anyone states the obvious yes I know OJ did it so save it.
But OJ at least got arrested and paid bail.

This part is "hilarious" to me...

    GTHOH! [IMG]

How about adding while youre at it, "..and as such, because someone follows you right up to your home and you decide to protect yourself, absolutely the person following you can shoot you dead for daring to". SMH.

I see Trayvon reacting as I see myself - as a woman - reacting..."Why are you following me??, Leave me alone, go away!!

As IF that lawyer would be "ok" with someone following him home...I can see a big old Florida man go in his house and come out with a 12 gage shotgun and point it right at Zimmerman and say, "You want some of this?". Too bad Tray only had his teenage fist.

according to the right wingers....zimmer was justified for following and shooting him because trayvon was suspended for spray painting lockers in school and getting suspended for having an EMPTY bag of maryjane

Oh in that case he should been swinging from a tree as an example. Those spray painting weed smokers need to be stopped at all cost. Smfh.
The worst part is like Kuno said. What if you were the one being followed at night by a stranger. In any other circumstance this would not be cool. I honestly in my heart don't understand how so many people can't see this.

I have not have the free time to follow this thread or the case in general.

I'm just going to guess that zimmerman still hasn't been arrested?
That's such a boost in my faith of our criminal justice system. I just can't express how much I believe in the fact that it works so well.

    Not. :smt076
