http://newsfeed.time.com/2012/03/29...-sign-of-injury-in-video-taken-after-killing/ Good news, feeling a little more at ease now.
So this is what I am gathering thus far... - Zimmerman is the son of a former judge which makes it likely that he is very familiar with the many laws of Florida. - His premeditated intentions of defending himself with a loaded gun escalated when he decided to instigate a situation that was not of imminent danger. - Therefore, after his provocation and aggression toward the suspect resulted in a physical altercation, Zimmerman exercised the law of his state and immediately executed the supposed perpetrator. Based on the evidence found in the case of Martin vs. Zimmerman, we find the defendant George Zimmerman guilty of First Degree Murder.
In HS I was in a fight once and bashed this dude's head against a brick wall just two times(!!). His head would not stop bleeding and we all thought he was going to die. THere was SO much blood; on the wall, down the back of his shirt and on the floor. Teachers looked at me like I just murdered him. He was immediately taken to the infirmary and when he showed up at school a few days later, the stitches in his dome looked like he'd just had brain surgery. (IMO after all these years the MFers deserved it, but in hindsight I kinda feel shitty about it.) I can't imagine Trayvon was repeatedly bashing Zimmerman's head on a concrete sidewalk and Zimmerman not suffering serious scalp injuries and significant loss of blood. People talk about this shit like it's in the movies, however bashing someone's head multiple times into brick or concrete is like hitting them in the head with a hammer. If I had bashed that kid's head into that wall like 10-12 times, I probably would have killed him. After seeing this video, there's no way I believe Zimmerman is being straight about what happened.
Head injuries typically bleed a lot. So you would just think something would be noticeable. I hope they took pics of his "injuries".
Were you arrested? J/K. From the report, paramedics treated him ant the scene and he declined to be taken to the hospital. Their report will garner more information on how "significant" any injuries were or not. Regardless, don't start none, wont be none.
Naw, thank God. It was a private HS and no charges were filed against me!:smt038 But there was a LOT of lecturing by the headmaster I had to suffer through for about a month AND mandatory psych counseling to 'repress' my inner hoodlum. Very embarrassing shit to have your character questioned by a shrink.:smt011
Dude no offense but who the hell bashes someone's head against a brick in a hs fight? That's bordering on making a mofo bite the curb
Yeah, in public school, the cops mob in there and throw the cuffs on you. I remember almost every day in middle and early high school, the cops would be in the parking lot because fights were always poppin' off. Eventually, the fights completely disappeared and the cops stopped showing up. Ahh, memories.
It was against a wall that happened to brick, were were in the hallway between classes. I wasn't scoping out the location for the most destructive impact. People pull knives on each other and take guns to school, or used to. What I did doesn't sound that out of the ordinary for a fight. Obviously there wasn't much thought put into what I did. Grabbing the sides of someone's head and pushing them up against a wall is fucked up to do, but I don't think I'm the only one who's ever done that.
Damn I guess my age is showing because we use to just punch it out. The only way anyone even got stomped was when they got jumped. The gun and knife shit usually happened on the streets near the projects but the actual school was pretty tamed. Shit just keeps getting worst and worst. Smh
When you're in a fight, you're not thinking straight. Adrenalin kicks in. Only after it do you realize how, or if damage was done..even if you yourself are injured...hard to feel that you are during it.
But at school? I always knew some where in the back of my mind that someone would break it up. Out in the streets is a different matter all together.
I have the funny feeling it's not going to quite go down the way people on here and across the nation think it should. His father said from the beginning "When all the details come out and the truth is known about what happened..." which made me uneasy at the time. I kept thinking "There's stuff that hasn't been divulged yet and the media is putting it's own slant on this..." I still think Zimmerman is guilty, should be punished, but it may not be as open-and-shut as the media is making it out to be. I'm scared that this could really set off some terrible things if he isn't found guilty.....
This was a private school in the South. After academics the biggest priority was winning football games on Saturday. We had fights ALL THE TIME.:smt076 BTW, if Zimmerman gets convicted of manslaughter, IMO it will be a minor miracle.
I don't know it might be hard to prove self defense if that ambulance report doesn't match up to the injuries he said he sustained. Even though I think that should be thrown out based on the fact that he stalked the kid at night but apparently that's a citizen's right regardless of outcome. Does anyone know the parameters of aggrivated assault?
