on the flipside, i think id recommend to anyone to go with a community college, just to save money for a few years. CCP has butter-ass transfer agreements with Drexel, and I think Temple as well. Why spend all that money if you can take the same classes and have that shit transfer over? CCP is like 400 a class, compared to Drexel@1700

Yeah, my community college has guaranteed transfers to several UCs, including Davis. I don't want to go there though.

 

I used to be a death penalty proponent until I researched and saw this map of countries and the death penalty status.




The United States of America is the only remaining Western industrialized nation that retains the death penalty.

Something about that bothered me, along with the stories of innocent people who have been exonerated.

The death of even one innocent person in a so called civilized, democracy at the hands of the government is something that should trouble us.

Could you imagine being an innocent man on death row, it could happen to any of us, because it has happened to others, the only difference is they got off later on new developments in their cases, what about those who may not have that fortune.

When the U.S. shares this distinction with China, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, etc. its troubling to say the least.

Yep I saw that shit and was shocked the United States smack dab big in the brown with some of the most unstable, repressive countries in the world.

New York officially outlawed the death penalty in 2007. Thank goodness.

Yet New York City's crime rate has kept declining year after year. Not like they outlawed it and criminals went buckwild with an orgy of violence on hearing the news.

Here's footage of Zimmerman taken from a security camera in the police station when he was brought in for questioning. This blows up his defense. He has no bloody nose, no bruises on his face, no cut on the back of his head and grass stains on his clothes. Looks like that story about Trayvon slamming his head into the ground is bullshit.

Can't see his face too close..the cops did said he was in good condition enough to be taken into custody and not the hospital. Ok so wouldn't the cops have taken pics of his injuries? I know they do so for a fact in assaults. Wondering where are the pics.

I heard also that the police had actually wanted to charge him, but the DA said, "nope, cant, not enough evidence" (citing the SYG Law).

Also that Zimmerman's dad is retired judge? Which might explain his arrogance to "play" cop.
