Any postseason glory Tim Duncan takes from these particular NBA playoffs might be bittersweet as he may be going through a divorce at the moment.

The San Antonio Express-News' Patrick Danner (h/t Slam Online) does a sizable amount of legal sleuthing to uncover what very well might be a pending divorce between Duncan and his wife of over 11 years, Amy.

So far there has been no confirmation that Duncan is indeed one of the parties featured in divorce documents at the Bexar County District Court. However, Danner spotted evidence to assume that the end of Duncan's season will coincide with a split from his wife.

The report notes that the pending divorce includes a specific request that, "legal discovery in the case be postponed until after the Spurs' last playoff game."

The following is a telling list Danner provides that points to an unfortunate end to a 2001 marriage between college sweethearts.

The style of the case is A.S.D. vs. T.T.D. Tim Duncan's middle name is Theodore.

The petition says the couple married on or about July 21, 2001, which coincides with the date of the Duncans' nuptials.

Two children were born to the parties in the petition: A daughter with the initials S.I.D., born June 27, 2005, and a son, W.D.D., born Aug. 3, 2007.

The Duncans have a daughter, Sydney, who reportedly was born on that date. Their son, Draven, is believed to have been born in 2007, though an exact birth date couldn't be determined.

Duncan, who is now 37-years old, began dating his wife (35) when both attended Wake Forest University. As reported, the divorce was initiated by the party ascribed "A.S.D." as their initials.

There has been no comment from either attorney. Both remain tight-lipped. Richard Orsinger, the lawyer representing A.S.D. in the proceedings, is also the one who represented Tony Parker through his divorce from Eva Longoria, as noted by Danner.

The San Antonio Spurs are in the middle of the Western Conference Finals against the Memphis Grizzlies, which they will resume on Saturday in Memphis with the Spurs leading 2-0 in the series.

Duncan, for his part, is coming off a solid Game 2 performance wherein he garnered 17 points and nine boards in 31 minutes.

While we will wait until final confirmation is reached to conclude Duncan's marriage is at an end, it certainly seems as though the star big man has a great deal on his mind as he plays out the final games of the season.

I think I'm surprised that he was actually having an affair. I know him personally and he seems like a great guy..
