Actually its pretty funny if you ask me. Its not like this stupid bitch is gonna actually get AIDS shit lol You're probably one of those people that think she deserved all of that money just for having Tigers' kids.
Dude if you dont want to part with your money then dont be a two faced ass with a public image of Mr. Squeaky Clean and a private image of fucking hoes in the ass while you are married. His wife hasnt done shit to deserve the hating because of the money she got and i'm surprised a couple of you cats seem to be mad she got that money. I dont feel sorry for Tiger, he is a fake motherfucker.
That $12 million could have been used for so many other crucial things such as: - Getting people out of poverty - Lowering our country's deficit - A cash incentive for our country's education and health care - Revitalizing of America's infrastructure - Lowering unemployment - Donating the money to the Obama Administration Instead, the money was basically "lit on fire" and burned.
You should got to you bank and withdraw all your cash and give it to people less fortunate than you. You don't need to eat or pay your tuition. Do it. That is what you are saying to her. Why should you tell her how to spend her money?? Who are you. She has a right to do as she pleases and you attitude is flip. Her construction person explains the house didn't meet current code in addition to having termites. The house is over 80 years old. Built to standards of another time. http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20559770,00.html . lin Nordegren, Tiger Woods's ex-wife, last week let loose a bulldozer on the $12-million oceanfront mansion she bought last year because, her builder tells PEOPLE, starting over made the most economical sense. The 17,000-ft., six-bedroom home in a gated community in North Palm Beach, Fla., was built in the 1920s, Dan Reedy of Onshore Construction and Development, tells PEOPLE. "It wasn't built to the South Florida wind-loading codes of today that were put in place because of hurricanes. We had an architect and a structural engineer out here and everyone agreed that it made more sense – structurally and economically – to tear it down and start over." But it wasn't a total loss. Nordegren gave Habitat for Humanity of Martin County, Fla., four weeks to methodically go through the structure and salvage tens of thousands of dollars worth of cabinets, hardware and fixtures. That's when termite and carpenter-ant infestations were discovered, says Habitat's director of deconstruction, Bobbi Blodgett. "When we pulled out the windows, the bugs were everywhere," says Blodgett. "To rebuild that house would have been ridiculous. We're so grateful to Elin. It's rare we get this kind of donation." Adds Reedy, "Elin could have had a garage sale and made a lot of money. But she wanted everything to go to charity." Nordegren, who celebrated her 32nd birthday on New Year's Day, is living in a nearby rental home with her two children – daughter Sam, 4, and son Charlie, 2 – while construction on her new home is ongoing. As for reports her romance with wealthy New York businessman Jamie Dingman is heating up, a friend of hers tells PEOPLE, "They are still dating, that's all. Nothing new there."
it does make me giggle when people start saying that people with money should donate to this and that. do the people saying so and so should donate, donate themselves or do they just think that's for other people to do?
It makes sense to me, and it's a good business decision as well. Consider, the average person buys a home, makes a down payment and then has to hope that their job and health holds out for 30 years. This lady finds the best location, razes a home and will erect another home. She'd be able to finance the cost of the construction through the land cost in all probability or even re-finance any costs she expends for construction based on the completed project. At completion, she'll have home that she can later sell if she desires, pay a mortgage she my take out based on the investment income from her personal wealth or pay it off entirely and enjoy the equity in her home. So, it's amazing...or maybe not, that people take such a superficial view of her investment decision.
You are right. At least she won't be throwing away money on an unsound home. I would have done the same thing as her. I bet the building was worth about 1/10 of the total sale price. The lot worth lots.
IMO, modern revitalization would be better than demolishing the whole thing. Think about the show "Pimp my ride" they used to air on MTV several years ago. Besides, she, like many others are people who are in positions of wealth and power. Athletes, actors and other people like them have made contributions and donations towards people who are less fortunate than they are. I'm not dictating that everyone has to do it, it's just something that seems practical to do. Doesn't matter, that's my POV.
Would you build a home on quicksand? I don't know how to make it anymore clear to you. It would have cost most to revitalize than start from scratch.
We don't know for sure, someone has to verify that. And yes, even though people don't like the first post I made, beyond the realm of this site, it makes sense for me to say it. That's why you all got alarmed at what I said.
Okay, I'm reading the articles in addition to other ones about the same thing. I'm about to hit the bed, so I won't be able to reply to you.
Thats all good. I just hate women that get rich for doing absolutely nothing. Was Tiger a dumbass? Of course. He should of known he was gettin in too deep but she still didnt deserve all of that money. Sick of how our system puts women on a pedestal all the time.
Lmao you gotta be one of the dumbest motherfuckers on here. Talk about throwing your money away smdh:smt042
wow...revitalization would have been an option had the home been structurally sound...if it were brick this would have made perfect sense...in fact a majority of restoration and revitalization projects are brick... this is waterfront property which means that it was likely worth more than the structure the donations to habitat for humanity restore are incredible...i went to my local restore recently and i didn't see many stainless steel appliances...anything that was worth anything in this home down to light fixtures and rolls of carpet could be resold...even the windows could have been removed...bathtubs, sinks, cupboards...the doors...they more than likely stripped this house down to the termite infestation if this house was built in 1932 it more than likely did not have an open layout to the house...i am not surprised at all that elin is starting from scratch...i wouldn't be surprised if she took the house further back from the shoreline as well
