some major cities are leveling entire neighborhoods due to foreclosure...the bank is walking away from properties as well..at least elin is going to build...
If you google the first one you will see it was on about 40 different news sites. I think people really didn't give a shizzle because it's not Tiger's ex and people love to hate on her here. Tiger set his path in motion and the chips fell. I won't hate her for doing what other rich people do all the time.
I don't know anything about Tiger's wife or even remember her name 5 minutes after hearing it(or most other celebrities). I would've said the same thing regardless of who it was that torn down their house. I just hope she don't blow through all that money like it's notin'.
Exactly, lol, agendas abound to justify contempt. This is not something new. It's been happening for decades as people move into a desirable area and want to erect their own dream home. Many times those homes being torn down may be 20 years old, but in "high rent" areas, thus justifying the price evaluation for those "older" homes.
Judging from the posts and the justification of what Tiger's wife's done, there is one conclusion rich people can sometimes be stupid. Yes rich people pull down homes and put up their dream house but if you buy a house which is more than 10% of your finances then decide to raze it down and build it up from the scratch with some of the remaining $88 million it is plain DUMB to me but hey its not my money.
Some live to create panic and hate. None of what he said is founded in facts. Tiger Woods’ ex-wife donates mansion items to charity by Emily Kay on Jan 6, 2012 6:06 PM EST Turns out the $12.3 million mansion that Tiger Woods’ ex-wife Elin Nordegren demolished -- to the derision of many observers -- was teeming with termites and carpenter ants. And, according to the Palm Beach Post, Nordegren donated thousands of dollars worth of furnishings and other items to the Martin Country Habitat for Humanity before rolling in the bulldozers. "What a wonderful thing for [Nordegren] to do. She could have tossed this stuff in the trash," Bobbi Blodgett, director of deconstruction for the local non-profit charity, told the Post. "The negative publicity toward her has been very unfair." http://www.waggleroom.com/2012/1/6/2688212/tiger-woods-ex-wife-donates-mansion-items-to-charity Nordegren reportedly decided to raze the 17,000-square-foot building after renovation workers found widespread destruction throughout the estate she bought in March, seven months after finalizing her purported $100 million divorce from Woods. "No wonder she tore the place down," Blodgett said. "The infestation was all over. You could put your fingers right through the wood." Among the reportedly hundreds of items the 32-year-old former Mrs. Woods donated to Habitat, which constructs homes for the disadvantaged, were a huge concrete fountain, five sub-zero refrigerators, 14 vanities, chandeliers, and a gas range, according to the Post. Habitat planned to sell the furnishings, which Blodgett estimated would fetch some $30,000.He just wants to hate on someone.
Yes zero in on me since I'm the only one who said anything. Keep riding my dick JC its cool lol. But riddle me this how do you buy a place and with in months of owning it you get a termite infestation so devastating that its causing holes you could put fingers through. Aren't you required to have the place inspected before you purchase a home? Interesting.
How does Elin do it? Like Rihanna and many others inlcuding normal people. Sometimes things aren't apparent. They lie under the surface of the home and you can't see. You can only hope your state has good laws on disclosure and you have recourse against the person who sold it to you. Rhihanna's horrid tale: http://la.curbed.com/archives/2011/...erly_crest_house_as_45_million_short_sale.php Rihanna Lists Leaky Bev Crest House as $4.5 Million Short Sale Monday, November 7, 2011, by Adrian Glick Kudler 79 Oof, you can feel the anger radiating off of this listing for Rihanna's house in Beverly Crest. RiRi is suing the former owners (who thoroughly remodeled the house in 2007 and 2008) and several other parties, alleging that the house was seriously leaky and became waterlogged after a "moderate rainstorm" in January 2010. Rihanna paid $6.9 million for the house in 2009 and the suit also alleges that she overpaid because her broker didn't give her proper comps. The Real Estalker first floated the sale story this morning, but now the house is officially MLS-listed and categorized as a short sale (meaning Rihanna must have taken on debt to pay for the house). Rihanna's asking $4.5 million. The listing goes out of its way to stay consistent with the lawsuit: "Home is a MAJOR fixer with EXTENSIVE water intrusion from (but not limited to) roof, windows, doors and balconies. There is EXTENSIVE damage from moisture AND water intrusion. Also encroachment issues and other problems. The home is being sold strictly AS-IS and will be subject to a short-sale." And the photos, as you can see, don't just show a mess of a house, they were actually taken on a rainy day. The house has eight bedrooms, ten bathrooms, and a pool on more than eight-tenths of an acre. · Rihanna Lawsuit Says $6.9 Million House Leaked and Her Broker Didn't Give Her Comps [Curbed LA]
I remember watching CNN at the height of the credit crunch and there was this notion that it might offend people to be opulent and extravagant in those difficult times but at the end of the day its HER money.
Well its possible she was taken advantage of I can't deny that but if you are dumb enough to purchase a home without actually seeing it yourself you deserve whatever problems come with it. Its difficult for me as a rational person seeing someone make a multimillion dollar purchase and not actually seeing things with my own eyes. You can't hide water damage or termites but whatever. They'll still be rich tomorrow while squabble over their undeserved lifestyles.
If the structure of the house is unstable then it makes no sense to throw good money after bad. TDK you haven't bought a house. You need to know that no, terminte damage isn't always apparent. Things lie behind walls. Some homeowners do cosmetic fixes to cover up so you don't have a clue. Unless you tear down drywall and tear off the roof you can't see what will come at you later that lies beneath the surface now. That is why there are laws in states to protect unknowing consumers. Look up real estate disclosure laws. If you had ever bought or sold a home you would be familar with that legal form and know it to be one of the most important things to look for when you buy. It's required.
Dude I owned a condo but it was in new building so I have to admit that inspecting it wasn't a big problem.
DUDE you are looking at that nice cute butt in those boyshorts and addressing her as dude? Lol j/k. But for real though Tiger's wife razed down the house because she CAN and not because of termites or ants, i bet if the settlement was $50million she would have found out alternatives ways to deal with it cus i am sure there are homeowners who have termite problems who do not have the luxury of razing it down. Bottomline: Money was talking and we all know what was walking.
What on earth? What is wrong with you? Seeing she wasn't the cheating party, would that mean that you hope she gets AIDS from tiger?
