Lindsey Lohan the latest to learn of the "bm will ruin your career" bullshit,
she just dropped out of her ir flick with nick cannon.

Sources say he is trying to friend kirsten dunst to take the role. If I was Nick I would just go with a b-list actress and stop wasting time.

I can't wait to hear her BS excuse. "Well, I actually had a prior comment which would have conflicted with the schedule of this film." Or something along those lines. I'll even bet she'll apologize for not working with Nick, crediting him with being a talent and wanting to work with him. Yeah, right.

Does IR really ruin a career??? I mean it's a risk but I think it would help broaden her acting career because it is a role some actresses wouldn't take.....Well I would love to do and IR movie!!! We NEED more!!!!

    This is so ridiculous!!!!

The point is that in Hollywood I've noticed that it's an unwritten rule that black men and white women simply will not be allowed to share the screen together. Oh sure, there's your occasional "Save the Last Dance" flick, but it is nowhere near commonplace. So the issue of whether or not it would ruin a WW career is pointless. Hollywood simply won't do it right now. That's why situations result in those females conspicuously opting out of the flick at the last minute sighting some type of scheduling conflict or some other lame excuse.

But for those of us born here and who have been watching movies and TV for years(like me), it's easy to see how Hollywood is playing this. Next time, just watch TV dramas, comedies and specifically "dating" shows. Everyone is usually hooking up, but you hardly ever see a brotha with a white chick. Especially when the writing of the characters would seem to put those two together.

I'm still convinced Hollywood is still a few years away from making IR mainstream in its movies and TV. In the meantime, this song and dance game of racial musical chairs will continue to be played.

She can't even act anyway. Will you call "Herbie- Fully Loaded" acting? Besides, i do not know what it is but black actors with Latinas, maybe Asians and other exotic ethnic women look much better to me anyway. Call me cynical, but i see it that way. These days, i could rarely ever care about black men hooking up with white women on TV anymore.

Nick should be glad she is not in his movie, she can't even get to the set of the ones she is working on now. She is getting ready to hit the wall soon and after that she will fall off.

Oh, I'm so glad this didn't happen. Nick Cannon with all his unfunny jokes. And Lindsey's nonacting abilities. Lindsey Lohan + Nick Cannon = Corny. Corny! Corny! Corny! Yes, I know some of you are offended that the white woman didn't take the part, but honestly would you go see some stuff like that?

It's the ghettoized version of who's line is it anyway but who's line is it anyway was way better and plus it had my fav. guy on it, Wayne Brady!

Honestly I could really careless about her doing an IR flick of any kind. Offended not at all.

Personally I think someone else in the role besides her, is a benefit to the film.

I never really watch any IR flicks (save the last dance, something new, etc.) They all look too dramatic. I don't even watch a lot of movies with humans in it (unless it's horror). That's why I just stick to toon flicks. (shrek 1 and 2 was better than any non-toon moving that I've ever seen  )
