The Truce Thread

In the interest of advancing to a higher level of civility on this site, and perhaps helping others let their guards down after the horrific invasion of privacy that was recently dealt to a member, I am calling a truce.

To the following members whom I've tangled with, I am extending a gesture of peace and (hopefully) understanding. Although it is virtual in nature, it is no less authentic than the air you breathe.

There is one person in particular that I am not interested in establishing peaceful relations with, because their presence on this board is irredeemable in my opinion. Other than this individual if we've exchanged unpleasant words in the past, it's water under the bridge.

I also urge others to call a truce where you see fit for the good of the board.

i will say though, that i didn't even know you had a 'beef' (giggles at the word beef, and thinks of the words "hot beef injection") with said people.

I can not name anyone as i never had any problems here .. mostly talk some silly stuff bored everyone, and i dont go much on topics with a lot of serious topics that will end up bad ... am here to have a nice time even if i talk anything random talk ... i have enough drama in my life so i don't need more from forums ... sometimes am glad i act this way on the forum, as leave me out of trouble lol

This is a brilliant idea and brilliant thread that can only take the forum to a new level and a mature direction......If I had the capacity, I would rep you every day for a week.......

The other option is obviously that the majority don't have no beefs and thus no need to call a truce. I guess that never occurred to you?

 

I don't hold grudges against anyone on here. A couple people annoy me, but I'm sure I annoy people too and it would be so boring if everybody got along all the time! I just don't like personal attacks. Attack the opinion, not the person.

I dont think any of the 7 replies talked about the beefs people had did it? I was thinking people would make an input as to the merits(or demerits) of a thread calling for a truce in a clearly caustic "environment". You know what this is a truce thread so no back and forth ok i am wrong, you are right.

 

As FG said, probably most people don't have any grudges and so have no need for this thread in the first place. I know I don't.

 

I only can talk for myself- I always try to be respectfull and to request-and if someone understood me wrong I try to clarify it directly. But if I was rude to someone in the past, I exactly meant it as I've said

 

yeah good thread, there are some people that will fuck with you for no reason .....it needs to stop. its a bunch of bullshit.
