I'm with you on this, lippy. If someone can't speak correctly, it makes me crazy.

    Misleading Purchases

Dollar Store, The 99 Cents Store, etc...

Sure, everything is a dollar, but with taxes it's $1.06 per purchase. Talking about misleading. If you want, just say A Dollar Store with Tax.

This drives me nuts too - when people whose first language is English bastardize it to the point that it's nearly unrecognizable.

I also hate people that write as if they are texting all the time. Seriously, quit being so f'ng lazy and type like a human being. Once I see that style of writing, the first thing I think is, "damn, what an idiot." Of course I make spelling and grammatical errors all the time but to type "might" as "mite" for example is just stupid.

I hear you. We all have our own preferences. I used to talk to this woman who used to say "you know what I'm sayin?" after EVERYTHING. Drove me crazy lol

I seriously HATE it when people mispronounce my name. I can understand hearing it once and forgetting, but if I even SHOWED you and CORRECTED you on more than three times the occasion and we see each other each week, I would expect you to have the common sense to get my damn name right. It's really not that hard. It's a common name and shouldn't be hard to pronounce.

And yet, I get called an asshole when I correct the person and they get angry. See how they feel if I butchered their names because "I can't remember". Godfucking assholes.

I actually agree with that statement, BBW. Kinda similar for me--i hate it when people spell my name wrong repeatedly. It also drives me nuts. XD

I hate the woman who decided to scream at her husband at the grocery store for apparently looking in the direction of another woman. There is no reason to be that loud and especially in this part of town...smh...

At least they still say your name correctly. Me? I just view those people as rambunctious morons.

I hate the reputation system on this forum. I mean I want to give someone rep and most of the time I’m told I can’t until I’ve spread it around to others, or else I get told I’ve spread too much in 24 hours and have to try later. Tsk! :(

I hate dress codes for no good reason. An example being the British Horse Society demanded that I wear a white shirt, tie, cream jodhpurs, long riding boots and a tweed jacket to take a stable management exam. The exam consists of doing physically demanding work with dirty animals in a dirty environment, yet they want candidates to wear what I consider impractical clothes. I always wore navy jods, a dark fleece, and wellies when doing stable duties as it’s comfy, practical and safe. The BHS have these stupid rules purely for the snob factor and tradition IMO; after all, the horses don’t give a toss what people wear provided the clothing isn’t flapping about and getting caught or scaring them. I refused to adhere to their rules so didn’t take the exam. Bunch of elitist snobs!

One way ticket to England! Why? I'll dress up in a dashiki and afro and ride those horses like I'm killing some BNP members.

I hate when people make assumptions about me, when in fact they really have no fucking clue who I am or what I stand for.

The few words I put here do not define me. Get a clue.

I hate seeing young men who think it's cool to wear pants down below their butts, exposing their underwear... I just can't get with that fashion statement... :smt011

Absolutely. I hate it when people pigeon hole me based on what I do for a living. For example, I could say I’m an artist/police officer/prostitute/dog trainer and each one would elicit a different response, but why should it! It’s the same with education; people I meet assume I have a degree (based on my interests and how I articulate) when in fact I don’t. So if I write a CV I could appear less intelligent than I am based on my academic qualifications. People are so quick to judge, which really pisses me off :smt096

I feel ya! While it's easy to say let it roll like water over a duck's back, personal attacks and assumptions draw out my "ugly"...
