I put this in another thread, so I'm gonna add my ($0.02) up in this here thread. I like the slim-bodies, but if they're a little thick then they gotta be built like Georgia Peach, Alicia Rhodes, Gianna Michaels, Bailey, or Katja Kassin.

A lotta cats really don't understand the accurate definition of "thick". It can be and is almost always very easily misinterpreted. The afformentioned "performers" should be a more on-point view as far as the term "thick" is concerned.

 

The problem is, ppl: everybody has his opinion and is welcome to share it, but u must be respectfull and polite.
I hope everybody got that.

I still think it is amazing how many men on here go out of their way to promote the fact they prefer "thin" or "fit" women...without even being asked for their opinion. There is nothing wrong with preferring leaner ladies but that doesn't mean you have to insult every woman that weighs more than 140 lbs. No one is going to deny you access to thin women if you have an occasional daydream about a size 12 with thick legs and a cute smile.

What's funny to me is all this rap, gangsta, thug, jailhouse, criminal, Flava Flav, gold-tooth, minstrel-show shit is OK, but the BM/bigger WW stereotype is the one that's got brothas all up in arms. If only they were so outraged over shit that actually matters.

I watch very little tv. I had it on last night and I can't remember what station was on the Ray J show was on for a few minutes. I didn't know the show existed...or who he was. I was amazed by the ads for the shows they had going on or that were coming up. At first I thought it was a gag, like how SNL and other shows will do bizarre take offs on real shows. There must be a big demand for that crap - they seem to be making more and more of them.

 

People are going to like who they like. You don't have to go around proving why you like the person you like.

I've seen all shapes and sizes together. Who cares? If they're happy, let them be.

And I agree, there are far more important things to be up in arms about in the world than this topic.

 

Even though Black men are "supposed" to prefer thick women, I don't really have a preference (as long as she isn't overweight or anorexic).

I prefer fit sexy women and 99% of the time the fit sexy women are invariably slim girls. This is common for men.

Where is it written that one cannot comment on the trivial (although and interesting debate could be had on whether combating stereotypes no matter how big or small is in fact trivial) and still be concerned and working daily on important issues? The two are not mutually exclusive.
